Actress Hwang Jeong-eum said in her Wednesday V broadcast that her bristly disheveled hair in the TV show “She Was Pretty” was not a wig.

“My hair was severely damaged because of it,” Hwang said while answering a series of questions from fans.

She expressed regret at her show’s time clash with a baseball playoff game between Doosan and Nexen.

“Why does this have to happen now when my character’s finally pretty?” Hwang pouted cutely.

MBC’s rom-com “She Was Pretty” airs every Wednesday and Thursday at 10 p.m.

The ninth episode of the program, which was postponed due to the baseball broadcast concurrently on Wednesday, will air Thursday.
