Rookie girl group Lovelyz appeared on the V app for the first time Wednesday at 11 p.m., ahead of releasing its new EP “Lovelyz8.”

The eight girls went live, wearing summer school uniforms, during a special program titled “Lovelyz Surprise Party.”

The members asked viewers: “Do you like our school uniform outfit?”

“We have worn all kinds of uniforms in the past, winter, spring, fall and now summer,” said member Sujeong explaining the group’s ongoing school uniform theme since their debut in 2014.

“Maybe for the next album, we would like to try different styles, something shocking,” member Baby Soul said. “Not sexy, but a strong women’s style.”

Eight-member group Lovelyz dropped its EP, with the lead track “Ah-Choo,” on Thursday. Lovelyz will perform on stage Thursday on cable channel Mnet’s “M Countdown.” Following the appearance, the group will continue its promotion on KBS’ “Music Bank” on Friday, MBC’s “Show! Music Core” on Saturday and SBS’ “Inkigayo” on Sunday.

Lovelyz debuted in November 2014 with the album “Girls’ Invasion.”
