Actor Joo Won broadcast his lunch hour in the middle of drama “Yongpal”’s filming via V app, Sunday.

“It’s 1:05 p.m. Filming for ‘Yongpal’ just ended and it’s lunch time now,” Joo won said as he walked to the cafeteria wearing a patient gown at the hospital used as a set for the drama shoot.

He is then guided by one of the staff to his lunch table, where he stands mouth agape at the surprise that was waiting for him.

One of the staff standing off camera said, “Your mom made a bento for you because you’re working so hard. She wants you to have a full meal at least once during the day.”

Joo Won, laughing with happiness, spoke to fans watching him on V app, “I don’t think you’ll have seen any bento like this before.”

He swerved the camera to face the table, which was laden with a luxurious meal including galbi, samgyetang, sushi, abalone, eel, assorted pancakes, fruits and salad, accompanied with a handwritten card.

“My mom must have spent the whole night preparing this. She always puts extra care into feeding her son,” said Joo Won.

“Mom, I know you won’t be watching this broadcast … I’ll call you later.”

The actor shared the food with the filming staff, bidding his fans have a good lunch and a wonderful rest of the weekend.
