GOT7’s ‘Mission Clear’

Though the 10-minute broadcast was brief, GOT7 left fans in stitches with its “Mission Clear” extravaganza. The members -- JB, Mark, Junior, Jackson, Youngjae, BamBam and Yugyeom -- returned to the V screen with three missions: a high note battle, counting pages and singing at the same time, and messages of encouragement for students readying for college entrance exams.

The members faced up to an unexpected challenge right out of the gate, as the app for measuring their pitch had a glitch. The embarrassed members quickly moved on to their next mission.

Two non-Korean members -- BamBam and Jackson -- took up the glove to count pages while singing songs in Korean. The two respectively counted 68 and 70 pages, though struggled a little due to the language barrier. What’s more hilarious is that the two members’ counts had the identical number of wrong pages -- they both overshot by seven, which represents their group’s name, GOT7.

The members also offered supporting messages to fans who are taking college entrance exams in November. “Don’t ever cram on the day before the exams. That’s when you get refreshed,” said Jackson, drawing laughter.

Apink’s ‘Jooparazzi Attack’

Apink went wild as the members appeared on V screen with Nam-joo’s “Jooparazzi Attack!” through which she raided the rehearsal room for the group’s upcoming concert titled “Pink Island.”

“We’re gearing up to heat up the scorching season,” said Cho-rong, hinting at various special events to be held during their performance.

“(For the concert) you might pass out, so please make sure you are ready for the energetic event,” said Bomi, jumping around the room. She provoked laughter as fans asked her to calm down and stay sane.

And more…

Tonight’s episode of “BamMin TV” kicked off with BamBam offering his condolences for the victims of the recent Bangkok bombings, saying, “My heart bleeds for them all. I would like to pray for the victims, the bereaved and the nation’s security.”

Mamamoo kick-started their own channel “Mamamoo V TV,” at 11 a.m., which featured the members singing an a cappella version of their latest hit track “Um Oh Ah Yeah.” The members danced and made jokes together, showing off their chemistry.

They also built up anticipation among fans with their announcement that their first ever fan meeting, to be held on Sunday twice at 5 and 8 p.m. in Seoul’s Olympic Park will be on air. The talented members are set to show off their musical talents while simultaneously interacting with fans through V.
