Kicking off Sunday’s Naver V app lineup was the much-anticipated first showing from one of hallyu’s most influential figures -- none other than the queen of K-pop herself, BoA.

Making her first appearance on the Naver V app, BoA managed to rack up more than half a million hearts and surpassed 8,000 comments, giving her fans a special sneak preview of her upcoming two-day solo concert at the Sejong Center in Seoul this weekend.

“I’m excited and nervous at the same time,” she said, noting that it has been two years since she held a concert here in Korea.

“I’ve been preparing for this concert for a long time and it’s been a few weeks now since I started practicing for the show, I haven’t taken a single day off,” said BoA.

“I will be singing songs that I have never performed at concerts in the past … alongside my band and my dance team I think will pull off an amazing show with a lot of new and various song arrangements. The show will be a concert that you can both enjoy listening to and watching.”

In honor of her V app debut, the K-pop icon chose to perform one of her previous hits especially for her fans, “Milky Way” from her “Atlantis Princess” album -- a song she said she hasn’t performed in 10 years.

After BoA’s special sneak-peek, the members of VIXX hopped on the same sneak-preview bandwagon, introducing the group’s first subunit LR and the duo’s new EP, “Beautiful Liar.”

Before talking about their album, LR members Leo and Ravi tried to spend some personal time with their fans, sharing random photos from their smartphones.

Ravi showed off various selfies that he had taken, as well as his childhood photos. Leo really turned heads when he concluded the session showing a shirtless close-up of fellow VIXX member Hyuk; thrilling fans who responded with a barrage of comments. “Hyuk omloooord,” one fan gushed.

When they finally introduced their new album, the two discussed their efforts and details of making the album while giving a preview of the tracks, including the EP’s eponymous lead single.

“The song is about a man expressing his two inner struggles at the start of love and breaking up,” Ravi explained.

The LR members posted the behind-the-scenes footage of their latest “Beautiful Liar” music video -- they showed that they not only know how to rap and sing, but also showcased their acting chops.

Also on the broadcast lineup was the shooting footage of B1A4’s first fan autograph session. In addition, the members of Teen Top danced like mad men and nearly set a cake on fire, celebrating member Niel’s birthday. The members of rookie K-pop group Monsta X also shared a short clip of one of their live, onstage performances.
