Song Seung-heon, Yoona honored by president

Actor Song Seung-heon and Girls’ Generation member Yoona received a presidential commendation for their exemplary payment of taxes on Tuesday.


The National Tax Service gave them the honor in recognition of their honest tax payments at the ceremony held on March 3 at the Coex Auditorium in Seoul.

March 3 marks the 49th Taxpayers’ day.

The two will be appointed as ambassadors to the National Tax Service to promote citizens’ duty to pay taxes.

Song already earned the honor in 2010. Yoona is known as a member of the Honor Society, a club for those who make large financial donations.

Yoona is currently preparing for Girls’ Generation’s new album while Song’s film “Wonderful Nightmare” will open nationwide soon.
