Sungjin of DAY6 took to V Live to celebrate the fifth anniversary of the band’s debut with his fans.

“You have been worried a lot and waited for a long while, but as you can see ... I’m getting better physically and mentally ... and fast doesn’t necessarily mean good,” he assured them.

He tried ignoring the fact that he wasn’t well, he admitted, but when he was forced to face it and the band suspended its activities, he started the rehabilitation process.

“When you are stressed out and slip to the bottom, you just cannot care about others whether you want to or not ... and the survival instinct kicks in,” he said. “And the moment we halted all the activities, I got better at an unbelievable speed.”

The musician confided that he is a softie and easily gets hurt emotionally. And he’d expected a lot from others, setting his standards too high both for himself and those around him and causing himself too much stress, he said. He wasn’t blaming himself but had learned to see things as they are, he added.

Stray Kids make beaded bracelets

Lee Know, Felix and Hyunjin of Stray Kids tried their hands at making beaded bracelets.

Felix admitted that this was his first time making one and Lee Know comforted him, saying he and Hyunjin were quite experienced and would help.

Hyunjin said he would make one in vivid colors and another one in simpler tones. Felix went along with the idea, while Lee Know wanted to follow his motto: “Simple is best.”

While keeping their hands busy, the trio talked about their upcoming repackage album.

Hyunjin said he liked the outfits the band members had worn in the teaser trailer, which went well with the song. Lee Know agreed and said he was happy that the quality of their songs was better than ever. Both Felix and Lee Know said “Any” was their favorite, and Hyunjin said he wished the clock would go faster and they could just share all the songs with fans.

Twice's Tzuyu full of happy memories

Tzuyu of Twice went through the photo library on her phone and talked about the memories it brought back.

“I actually was not ready but pushed the (start) button by mistake,” she said with a sheepish grin.

She had put on a little makeup, not because she had an appointment but out of boredom. Since most members of Once, the group’s official fandom community, must be spending a lot of time at home, she thought it would be nice to chat for a while on her day off, said the idol.

She bought a new phone early last year but still had a lot of photographs on her old one. And she had been going through them before going on V Live. The photo that Tzuyu most wanted to share with viewers was that of her pet puppy.

“This was the first picture I took with the old phone,” said Tzuyu, showing a selfie she’d taken with Chaeyoung.

Ateez's Hongjoong appreciates Yoonho's sympathy

Hongjoong and Yoonho of Ateez talked to fans while enjoying steak on Naver’s V Live.

Yoonho thanked the band leader for treating him to a luxurious lunch and commented on Hongjoong’s recent stint as a goalkeeper on a TV show.

“I haven’t done soccer since sixth grade and I wasn’t a promising player even then,” confessed Hongjoong, who played ball with well-known sports players on the entertainment program.

He had two practice games with them before recording the show and had done quite well at futsal -- “I wasn’t bad on the smaller field!” he said. But when they played on a full-size soccer field, it was very different. Hongjoong must have been really nervous, Yoonho said, and Hongjoong acknowledged that meeting the sports stars and playing together with them had been nerve-wracking.

The band members were experiencing a lot of new things during this promotion period, said Hongjoong.

“You even were the most searched person yesterday ... fit for our leader,” teased Yoonho.
