Asahi of the 12-piece boy band Treasure celebrated his birthday with his bandmates.

“I’m happy to spend my time with the members every day,” he said, thanking everyone.

“This is the first time we’re broadcasting on V Live, so it feels new and I’m a little nervous,” he added.

Band leader Choi Hyunsuk suggested they share their feelings about their recent debut, and Park Jungwoo said, “We’ve been waiting for it so long and are happy to have more opportunities to meet you.”

The artists stood up and bowed to viewers to express their gratitude for having come in second place on a television music chart show with their debut song, “Boy.”

The members then split into four teams and created customized T-shirts for the birthday boy. When they were done, he put on the ripped, torn and flower-appliqued creations and posed in them.

TXT’s Yeonjun has become a movie buff

Yeonjun of Tomorrow X Together took to V Live and discussed his newfound love for movies.

“I didn’t do much today,” he told fans in reply to a question. He’d just had a hair treatment and a practice session. His hair was getting quite long, he said, agreeing with some of the comments coming in from viewers -- especially in the back, as he’d let it grow. It was not bad-looking, he said, but he was planning to get a haircut.

Lately he watches movies whenever he has time, as many as three or four a day, the idol confided after seeing a viewer’s request for a recommendation.

“Instead of proposing one, I’ll mention some I saw,” he said. He recently heard about Kang Dongwon’s movie “Peninsula,” which came out last month, looked up other movies featuring the actor and saw “KUNDO: Age of the Rampant.” It was really good and Kang and Ha Jung-woo were so cool, he added.

NCT Dream's Chenle, Jisung share dreams

Chenle and Jisung of NCT Dream did a “voice-only” livestream together.

“I asked fans which they like better, piano or guitar, yesterday,” said Jisung. He’d watched Chenle’s video of himself playing the piano and decided he wanted to play an instrument too.

“I’ve been learning on and off and this time I want to learn properly,” he said.

Chenle encouraged him to take up one instrument at a time and confided that although he’d acquired his music skills when he was a child, it was all thanks to his parents, who “had to push me all the time to practice.”

Fans asked Chenle about his recent dream-come-true moment. The idol tweeted that he’d wanted to meet Stephen Curry and the basketball star had replied and said “let’s make it happen!” someday.

“I couldn’t believe it. I could do nothing but grin for two days,” said Chenle.

GOT7's Yugyeom may need haircut

(Naver's V Live)

Yugyeom of GOT7 checked in on fans with a brief chat Thursday afternoon.

Although it had only been 10 days since he’d livestreamed via Naver’s V Live, he and the viewers agreed that it had been a while.

“When did my hair grow so long?” asked the musician, looking at his bangs, which covered his eyes. The longish bangs were already making his forehead sweat, he said, pushing them back. He perspires a lot, he acknowledged, and he’s starting to enjoy spicy food now, which makes him sweat. It is surprising that your taste buds can change even when you are grown up, said Yugyeom.

He chuckled at a comment from a viewer who wanted to touch his hair, mumbling that it was frizzy, like the band’s mascot dolls. He was happy to hear that the dolls, part of the band’s official merchandise range, are sold out.
