BTS dropped a sliver of a teaser trailer for the boy band’s digital single “Dynamite” on Wednesday.

In the clip of less than 30 seconds, the septet appears cheery and buoyant, smiling into the camera and dancing to the beats of the disco pop number. Their pastel-colored costumes further tap into the retro mood.

“Dynamite” is a prerelease from the band’s upcoming album and will be released in full Friday at 1 p.m. local time, followed by an online media conference that will be livestreamed around the world.

BTS will premiere the English single at the 2020 MTV Video Music Awards to be held Aug. 31. They wanted to share the positive energy with fans, as many around the world have been going through tough times due to COVID-19, the band said.

The group’s much anticipated new album will come out in the fourth quarter, confirmed Bang Si-hyuk, CEO of agency Big Hit Entertainment, at an online corporate briefing last week.

Bang Chan of Stray Kids uploaded a video giving fans a peek into his everyday life.

He first went to have his eyes checked and came back to home to find donuts that Felix had left for him. Let me show you the way I enjoy it, he said, dunking a glazed Krispy Kreme donut that had been microwaved for 10 seconds into cold milk.

“Warming it up makes it chewy and juicy,” he explained after thanking Felix.

Following a Pilates session the next morning Bang Chan wanted to reward himself with a big breakfast, but held himself in check and settled instead for some rice, chicken breast and dried seaweed as “Felix is likely to wake up in a couple of hours and would want to eat together.”

He then went to his studio at the company to work on his music -- “One day I may be able to let you listen to it” -- for a few hours and returned home to make cookies with Felix for the latter’s vlog.

The bandmates of Cherry Bullet came to the studio of K-pop Herald and talked about their new single “Aloha Oe” with reporter Hong Dam-young and a special guest, Seoul-based Mexican entertainer Christian Burgos.

With the weather alternating between scorching hot and steamily humid, their summery single is an uplifting go-to, said Hong, and so addictive you’ll listen to it over and over again and cannot resist dancing, added Burgos.

“We loved the spirit of the song the instant we heard it,” said Jiwon. Yuju admitting that she and Bora had tears in their eyes when they listened to the song together for the first time and looked at each other.

As for the colorful music video, Remi confided that she overcame her fear of clowns while shooting it. It took them only two days and they had so much fun.

“There was a scene at a pool and we were enjoying ourselves so much so that we forgot we were shooting,” recalled Haeyoon.

AB6IX's Kim Donghyun enjoys solo chat

Kim Donghyun of AB6IX chatted with fans in the sixth episode of his solo segment.

He wanted to keep true to the segment’s “late-night” title. It is a time when most have left work and the perfect timing to go to bed as soon as the show ends, he said.

Confirming he was at the company lounge, he said he was the only one from the group there. He had an activity the prior day -- “I cannot tell you what it was yet” -- and went straight to bed when he came home. He hit the gym earlier in the day, went to see a dermatologist and had his hair done.

“At the clinic, I had a shot,” said the idol, making a gesture of an injection on the nose bridge. It was his second time ever to get a shot for an outbreak, and it hurt so bad, he confided, shaking his head at the thought.
