Hoshi of Seventeen briefly went live to celebrate his birthday together with fans.

With a sheepish grin, he admitted that he was not sure how to start. Showing a birthday cake sandwiched between two large tiger stuffed toys, he thanked everyone first.

“It’s only a week away from our return and I‘ve been showered with congratulatory messages from acquaintances and fans,” he said. “It was very rewarding, as if I’m recognized for working hard until now.”

He apologized for coming on to V Live late, saying that it had been a busy day. The birthday boy also told viewers that he received a lot of presents from his bandmates, even though he wasn‘t expecting anything from them. The8 even gave him a painting, he said, while picking up a canvas with a yellow, black and white oil painting on it to show.

Junghan joined Hoshi for a short while and Hoshi thanked him for treating him to a meal. Junghan fished out the bill from his pocket and sent Hoshi into laughter.

NCT Dream's Jisung shows off a new hair color

Jisung of NCT Dream chatted briefly with fans after three failed attempts to go live.

“I almost gave up but tried for one last time,” he said letting out a sigh of relief.

Viewers asked him where he was after seeing him lying against a stack of fluffy pillows on a bed but he told them that it was a secret. He said that some of the bandmates might be taking showers and Chenle is likely to be asleep, and laughed at Jaemin who dropped in to whisper “Don‘t talk about showers.”

Jisung was suprised when fans told him that they could hear someone -- probably Jaemin -- drying his hair. As for his own hair, he was happy that many noticed that he had trimmed his cherry-colored hair.

“I like changing my hair because it makes me feel like I’m showing off a new side of myself,” he confided.

“I‘ve changed my hair color for the first time in a while, so I was happy to show it to you,” he added, promising that he will be back soon.

Tomorrow X Together hopeless at cooking

The members of of TXT tried out making popular snacks during the 17th episode of their original show.

They were given five dishes to choose from: tteokbokki, or spicy rice cake, gimbap, or Korean seaweed roll, and eomuktang, or fishcake soup along with slushies and dalgona coffee.

The quintet had to figure out the ingredients for each dish after being given a five-second look at a screen that flashed the names first. Then, they were given one minute to pick up ingredients from a table full of random food items.

“We didn‘t get rice!” Yeonjun exclaimed.

The five looked over at a stack of steamed rice bowls but quickly recovered from the shock and decided to earn the rest of what they needed and the full recipes by winning mini games.

After a series of failed attempts, though, the producers gave up and offered the recipe.

IZ*ONE shares dreams, fantasy at pajama party

The bandmates of IZ*ONE had a blast during a livestream with a slumber party theme.

The theme of the day was fantasy to go along with the group’s latest track “Secret Story of the Swan,” Cho Yuri explained.

Honda Hitomi said that she dreams of sleeping on clouds, while Kwon Eunbi fantasized about flying in the sky.

“I will be more realistic,” said Lee Chaeyeon, confiding that she has always wanted to join a pajama party.

“I really want to try kongguksu,” or cold soy milk noodle soup, said Kim Chaewon while Yabuki Nako shared a more ambitious goal: to eats 100 different kinds of ice cream on her upcoming birthday.

Miyawaki Sakura proudly announced that she has recently realized her dream of having a gaming PC in her own room.

“When I saw that it became my new fantasy!” chimed in Choi Yena.

When Kang Hyewon hesitantly said that she would like to have some delicious food, everyone began to tease her for not being prepared.
