Jun of Seventeen talked to fans via Naver’s V Live and they celebrated his birthday together.

He also mentioned the band’s seventh EP, which comes out June 22.

“I’ve consulted with the staffers before coming on as I was worried about dropping spoilers,” he said, chuckling.

“Let’s not talk about it today. Ask many questions when Hoshi does his birthday livestream,” he added, passing the baton to his bandmate, who was born five days after him.

He’d practiced as usual, said the birthday boy, recalling how he’d spent past birthdays performing and doing concerts. It was sad that he could not meet his fans offline, he admitted.

As soon as the clock hit midnight, every member of the 13-piece act gathered to mark Jun’s birthday, he said. And they’d shared a cake, although he wasn’t sure what kind. “Probably a tiramisu,” he said.

“You will get to see what else we did later,” Jun told viewers.

What about gifts? The bandmates asked him what he wanted, he said, but he’d asked them to treat him to a meal.

All eight members of Stray Kids went live after a photo shoot and had a Q&A session with fans.

“We’re coming out with our first full-length album, and you must want to know a lot about it,” said Han. Each bandmate took two questions, and they also encouraged viewers to ask more.

Hyunjin was given seven seconds to promote the forthcoming album, titled “Go Live.”

“The title track is really good, and so are the rest of the songs. The music video will also be cool,” he said, adding that he couldn’t say much since he was afraid he might give out too many hints.

I.N also was cautious, saying one of the album’s distinguishing features might be the performers’ hairstyles. “Especially Hyunjin’s,” he said.

“It could also be said that the overall ambiance is more mature,” added Bang Chan.

When Changbin read aloud a comment asking the artists to pick their favorite song from the album, Bang Chan smiled and said, “All.”

Hyunjin agreed. “All are really the best ever,” he said.

NCT Dream’s Renjun catches up with fans

Renjun of NCT Dream talked about the band’s cooking show.

As soon as he started broadcasting live in the car on his way home, fans told him they’d watched the first episode, which had just been uploaded.

“I will not give you any spoilers, though, as some of you may not have watched it yet,” he said. Still, he couldn’t resist asking if they knew what he’d made on the show.

The idol gave the thumbs-up to a fan who correctly listed every dish: bibimmyeon, or spicy cold noodles, topped with grilled pork belly, and cheonggukjang jjigae, or fermented soybean paste stew.

He’d teamed up with Jaemin and they’d first thought about making a Chinese hot pot, or huo guo, which they both love. But they found out Chenle and Jisung had already chosen a Chinese dish.

“So instead we went for pork belly, telling ourselves to make the best ever, and thought what would go perfectly with it,” he said. “And everything tasted so good, actually.”

Tzuyu of Twice went live while on the move to thank her fans for the birthday wishes. Her birthday falls on June 14.

“The corner of my lips just won’t come down,” she acknowledged, all smiles.

The day started early, she said, with a recording session for a television music chart program. After a short break back at the residence, she was back on the road and went out to get a close look at some of the billboard ads her fans had put up to wish her a happy birthday.

“You have done those again this year,” she went on, admitting that it still felt amazing. “I checked out the one near Coex. Waited for a while (for the ad) to show, holding my breath.”

She thanked everyone and promised to upload birthday pictures. After checking her schedule for Sunday, the idol also gave her word that she would come back on V Live to celebrate her birthday with fans.
