TXT presented its second EP, “The Dream Chapter: Eternity,” via an online showcase. The showcase was open only to photojournalists and camera crew as a precaution against COVID-19.

The five band members kicked off the one-hour broadcast with “Drama,” one of the six tracks from the new EP.

“Returning after seven months, we have prepared a lot,” said Soobin after greeting fans. The EP carries over the band’s “dream” concept and is fully packed with tracks that range from songs written by the bandmates to a remake, he added.

Second on the set list is a fresh take on the ’90s hit “Fairy of Shampoo.”

“It is meaningful since it’s our first remake and also is Yeonjun’s first attempt at writing the rap part,” Huening Kai said.

“With the title track, ‘Can’t You See Me?’ you will be able to see a new side of us -- dark and melancholic -- so please keep your expectations high,” said Taehyun before premiering the pop number.

GOT7, DAY6 support bandmates on ‘Idol Radio’

Youngjae of GOT7 and Young K of DAY6 became regular hosts of “Idol Radio,” filling positions that had been vacant for quite some time, and their bandmates appeared in their first episode to show their support.

The hosts thanked Bambam and Jinyoung of GOT7 and Wonpil and Dowoon of DAY6 for joining them. Then it was time to celebrate more good news, beginning with DAY6’s victory with “The Book of Us: The Demon,” which has topped music charts around the world, including iTunes’ worldwide album chart.

Youngjae started to ask Wonpil and Dowoon to do something, but Wonpil said no before he could finish the question. The new host, failing to suppress a grin, reminded Wonpil that his guests are supposed to whatever he asks.

The musicians, all label-mates under JYP Entertainment, had a blast praising each other, but turned serious when discussing how they worked on their music. The guests also had fun hitting the DJs while playing games and making fun of each other, and finally the whole group danced together to Rihanna’s “Umbrella.”

Twice’s Dahyun drops in between shoots

Dahyun of Twice sat down for a brief chat with fans between filming sessions.

“I’ve been out shooting all day, came back to the company to shoot again and am waiting for some more,” she told viewers, trying to hide a breakout on the side of her nose.

“As you’ve seen, Tzuyu’s MBTI test has been uploaded and I’ll be shooting mine when Chaeyoung is done,” she added.

The idol showed off her chest-length mane and said it had grown a lot but she wanted it even longer. But because she’d dyed it so many times, the hair strands are brittle and have started breaking off.

“I realized that I’ve gone through many colors over the past five years: red for ‘Knock Knock,’ orange for ‘TT,’ yellow for ‘Dance the Night Away,’ green for the album jacket for ‘Fancy,’ blue for ‘Fancy,’ purple for ‘Yes or Yes’ and gray for ‘Feel Special,’” she recalled -- plus a few more.
Previously, her hair was blond so she hadn’t noticed how much hair she was losing. But now that she has darker hair, she can see it much better.

“It’s a little sad,” she admitted, telling herself to get hair treatments more often.

Stray Kids’ Lee Know doles out advice

Lee Know of Stray Kids held a Q&A session with fans in his solo segment.

Nibbling on some cheese strips, he went through the questions. Many were requests for advice from the gym buff on how to work out and eat healthy.

How long does he work out every day?

“It depends. Some days it’s only 30 minutes and other days it can be as long as two hours. It’s up to how you set your routine,” he went on with a smile. “The days when I only put in 30 minutes? It’s nice.”

For beginners, he recommended squats. “Basic squats,” he said, “since a strong lower body is a good base for everything. You would want to build up your physical strength first.”

The boy band’s main dancer acknowledged that he practiced intermittent fasting when the band was promoting its music.

“It is not easy to prepare salad while in the middle of everything, so I often choose to do it. ... It usually shows after two weeks,” said Lee Know.
