RM and J-Hope of BTS tried their hands on customizing the lightstick following the lead of their fans.

“I am not late today,” emphasized RM referring to the fact that he was 15 minutes behind schedule for the last segment he did with Jimin. J-Hope teased RM that the latter’s dalgona-coffee making was featured in a news item.

“It just showed us whipping like crazy in the background,” RM said sheepishly before joking: “Are we that (famous)?”

Today he would try and stay serene, said RM as J-Hope told viewers that they will be decorating the light sticks as many of ARMY, their official fandom society, seemed to be doing.

RM liked how bright the new version glowed and J-Hope agreed, saying he also loved the tinkling sounds of the old one.

“Ah, how it sounds when there are 40 to 50 thousands of them,” he reminisced.

They added flowers and glittery film and painted drawings and spelled out ARMY. But when a fan commented that it is as good as her 8-year-old daughter’s work, the two cracked up and wondered which one of them she was referring to.

BTS's V returns as DJ

V of BTS resumed his solo segment under the title of Taetae FM, an idea that he floated during the US visit in January.

Under the title fashioned after one of his nicknames, he livestreamed solo playing the role of a radio show host beginning with Delispice’s “Confession.”

The artist played coy with the camera, turning away from it and snatching glances while keeping his face unreadable. But he could not resist himself any more when the song moved to the verse and sang along.

As the next song, Alaina Castillo’s “Just a Boy,” played on his phone, V got more into the groove singing into the microphone.

“I have been building up memories with ARMY with a series of online gatherings as part of my ‘stay-at-home’ challenge,” he said addressing the band’s official fandom.

“And many have recommended songs and I want to share some of the songs with you today,” he told viewers. There will be no guest, though, he informed, as he is the only member at the company.

NCT Dream's Jeno celebrates birthday

Jeno of NCT Dream took to V Live to mark his 20th birthday with his fans.

“I have lost all the excuses to say that I have not grown up yet,” he chuckled.

He thanked everyone for congratulating him on the birthday including the messages posted on SNS and brought in a candle-lit cake.

“I will skip the birthday song,” the idol said and made a wish before blowing out the candles.

“It feels strange doing this all by myself,” he admitted with an embarrassed chuckle. He then showed the front side of the cake up close explaining that Jaemin sat on the cake box by accident.

Jeno then told viewers that he wished everyone to stay healthy and the band to build more happy memories with fans.

“I am very happy (to come out with new music) of course but at the same time, quite sad that we will not be able to do much with you,” he went on, “but we will do our best believing that you will be watching us wherever you are.”

Soobin and Beomgyu of TXT listened to songs they have picked with viewers on their V Live segment.

“Many of you have sent us recommendations and each of us have chosen 10,” Beomgyu said.

“The first song I want to share made me think a lot while we were in the US for our showcase tour. I was looking at the night sky dotted with many stars. My dad used to listen to this song before going to bed,” said Beomgyu of Fiona Apple’s “Across The Universe.”

Soobin’s first pick was “more of a morning song,” he said before putting on Shawn Mendes’ “Fallin’ All In You.” The leader of the band recommended the singer’s self-titled album from 2018 as a whole as well.

The duo moved their bodies to the guitar-plucked tender melody, and Soobin added that “if you listen to this in the morning, you will be able to wake up feeling fresh.”
