The bandmates of BTS tried their hand at flower arranging in the 99th episode of “Run BTS!”

“I am worried viewers may not be able to tell us apart from all these flowers,” joked J-Hope before admitting that he had never had anything to do with flowers except for buying a bouquet. RM, on the other hand, showed confidence since growing potted plants, or bonsai, is one of his hobbies.

They first went through the flowers for each of their birthdays, busily going through all the names and meanings. When asked to make small flower arrangements themselves, V said he wanted to create something he could hang from the living room ceiling since they now have a bigger space.

“You want to turn our house into a jungle?” asked Jin.

RM, being ever pragmatic, asked the florist what their easiest option was and he suggested a boutonniere, a small decoration usually worn on the lapel of a jacket.

J-Hope was disappointed that buttercups, his birth flower, were not available but was soon chirping and cheeping as he carefully trimmed other flowers.

“I used to think he was being noisy because he was nervous in front of the camera but he just is,” said Jimin as everyone laughed.

Johnny and Mark of NCT 127 livestreamed from a tent set up indoors for the band’s ongoing relay live segment.

Johnny playfully tried to feed Mark but the latter pushed his hand away and ate by himself, asking which character he was supposed to play.

“We’re going to come up with our own,” Johnny said and then told viewers that they had set up the tent themselves. The two had added some lights to enhance the mood, Mark chimed in.

Looking at the boxes of Lego, Mark said: “I cannot even remember the last time I did this. What am I making?”

“What is important is that you and I are doing this together,” replied Johnny, a self-confessed fan of the Netflix drama “Crash Landing on You.”

After building their Lego figures, the pair treated themselves to some marshmallows dipped in hot chocolate made by Mark.

“This actually isn’t good, though,” acknowledged Mark, making Johnny chuckle.

Yeonjun and Beomgyu of TXT chatted with fans while playing a board game.

“I woke up not long ago and my brain is not working but I’m sure I can beat Beomgyu,” said Yeonjun.

“Same here,” replied Beomgyu.

After explaining the rules of the game briefly, the younger bandmate asked if he could show the viewers his black and blue striped sweater.

“This was a birthday present from Yeonjun,” he said, showing the frayed cuff and hem up close. Yeonjun had the same sweater in black and white, and he tried hard to stop himself from getting angry at Beomgyu.

Beomgyu suggested a bet and they agreed the loser would treat the winner to super-spicy pork wraps. The pair then started the game, finding ways to match the colored squares in front of them to a 3-by-3 grid as fast as they could.

Yeonjun seemed to take his time but he won the first round, proudly showing his winning squares to the viewers.

Victon’s Heo Chan reaches out to fans

Heo Chan of Victon said hello to fans after a yet-to-be-disclosed appointment.

“Although we have wrapped up our three-week promotional activities for ‘Howling,’ we are going to continue communication with you,” he said, but couldn’t tell them what the appointment was about.

It really was a shame that they could not perform “Howling” in front of physically present fans, said the idol, especially since they had put so much work into it.

“But the day will come when we will be able to,” he said.

He had not had time to dress up for the broadcast as he’d come straight from the appointment, he said apologetically.

“But it is always nice to talk to you,” said Heo. Every time he turns on V Live, however, he worries about what he should do to keep it fresh and new, he confided.
