Kang Daniel took to V Live after a TV appearance on a music chart show.

He thanked fans for liking his first EP, “Cyan,” but admitted he misses seeing them in person.

“I really gained energy from your presence and am definitely feeling the void,” said the performer, hoping fans would be able to meet up-close during his next promotion activities.

“My hair color is blue-gray, I think, but it can seem closer to green depending on the filter,” Kang replied to fans’ questions. He also had his hair permed and the combination had wreaked havoc on both his hair and scalp, he acknowledged.

Kang then asked viewers about the chanting clip he made for “2U,” the lead track from the EP. The song, including the choreography, is groovy and flows so the singer wanted the chants to be shouted out like a yell so that when the time comes for him to perform in front of fans, they could add their own accents to it, he explained.

Victon's Jung Subin soothes fans

Jung Subin of Victon chatted with fans to ease their sadness as the band wrapped up its promotional activities for “Howling,” the lead track from sixth EP “Continuous.”

Apologizing for appearing bare-faced, he mentioned his appearance as a guest on “The Masked Singer” in an episode that had aired recently.

“My mom called me and asked me why I was so meek in my reaction,” the idol told viewers with an embarrassed smile. “She thought that’s probably why I wasn’t on the camera that much.” It was novel to observe a competition in such proximity, he noted, adding that he was amazed by how good the artists were.

Jung had a relatively slow day considering that Victon had appeared on a music chart program that day. The bandmates had part of it recorded earlier so they went to the station only about an hour before the live session started, he told viewers.

EXO's Suho discusses solo debut

Suho of EXO floated a video titled “Portrait of Suho,” discussing his first solo EP “Self-Portrait.”

It was inspired by impressionist master Vincent Van Gogh, his self portraits in particular, he said, which he came across while on a photo shoot in Switzerland.

“I could see the brushstrokes and it seemed like each conveyed the artist’s feelings and (the portraits) looked different, although they were all of the same subject: himself,” elaborated the musician.

He has been a huge fan of the Dutch master ever since, and thought if he ever released a solo album that he wanted it to reflect himself deep inside.

The EP is mainly based on the sounds of rock bands, which perform their own music, confirmed Suho.

“I love band music. When I was in school, I listened to (Korean rock band) Nell a lot, although I’m not sure how I sympathized with the philosophical music,” he said with a chuckle. Band music soothes the soul and gives a fluttering feeling, the singer said, adding that he would be fortunate to feel the synergy between the instruments and his solo performance.

ITZY celebrates another trophy with shaved ice

The bandmates of ITZY enjoyed shaved ice after nabbing another trophy with “Wannabe.”

“Why is there shaved ice in front us? First, it is time for dinner. And second, because we wanted to have some,” said Lia, going on to list more. With Yeji’s gentle push, she announced finally: “Because we topped the chart!”

They clapped and thanked everyone for another trophy win on a TV music chart program.

“Totally unexpected,” muttered Ryujin.

Although they could not physically share the treat with fans, Lia said it was a way to celebrate together, as the group jumped at the dessert. While they happily shared different flavors of shaved ice, fans commented on Yeji’s spikily ornamented hair.

“I am quite sensitive today, I am all thorns,” Yeji joked, though her bandmates laughed, telling her she is rarely sensitive, except when extremely sleepy.
