Renjun of NCT Dream went live before his weekly radio program, after which he usually livestreams in the car, to celebrate his birthday with chocolate cake.

He woke up early that day, he said, not wanting to “waste” his birthday with too much sleep.

“My parents were the first to send a happy birthday message followed by each and every one of my bandmates,” he told fans, thanking them for their congratulatory messages and billboards. His parents gave him cash, an amount starting with 323 for the date of his birth, but he had yet to receive a present from his bandmates, he told curious viewers.

“I wish for everyone to stay healthy,” said the idol, “and hope this outbreak will be over soon.” If he could choose another present, he said, he’d like a bottle of perfume since a fresh fragrance would be nice for summer.

The time seems to go by faster every year, Renjun added, vowing to cherish it more.

Tomorrow X Together goes camping

The bandmates of TXT had some fun outdoors in the 11th episode of their reality program.

“I’ve never been to a campsite!” said Yeonjun excitedly. Hueningkai pointed out that they’d been to one in the US together but Yeonjun insisted that the US camp was quite different.

“Yeah, it was more like survival in the desert,” agreed Taehyun, chuckling at the memory.

Each was given a Polaroid camera with enough film in it for 10 shots and a mission to take pictures of a band member at a specific moment. Soobin tried fishing for clues, but everyone kept the instructions to himself.

As a warm-up, the quintet sat down in the tent and played a game called Zero. Yeonjun tried in vain to stop himself from raising both thumbs as if on command, while Taehyun calmly dominated the game.

While listening to the rules for the next mission, Beomgyu picked up his camera to capture Yeonjun laughing, but not before the latter figured it out.

Stray Kids' I.N decorates photo cards

I.N of Stray Kids tried decorating the band’s photo cards in the 27th episode of his solo live segment.

“I haven’t done this before so I frankly am not sure what to do, but I will do my best,” he said, asking viewers to share their tips.

Per viewers’ request, he started with one of his own. After opening the four CDs he had, the idol said he could find only one of his own cards. Since many of his fans tell him he looks like a desert fox, he would try and turn himself into one, he said.

I.N showed them the results -- complete with pointy ears and a fluffy tail -- bringing the card closer to the camera for a better look. His confidence got a boost from viewers’ compliments. He was ready to work on Seungmin’s, but was dumbfounded when he realized it was missing from the stack.

Yunho of Ateez also took to V Live to celebrate his birthday, appreciating the opportunity to talk to fans online on his own.

“This is the second birthday I’m celebrating with you, Atiny,” he said, addressing the band’s official fandom community. He was in the middle of a tour on last year’s birthday, he recalled, and it was nice to spend his birthday in South Korea this time.

Meanwhile, the performer acknowledged in response to fans’ comments that he seemed to have lost weight.

“I’ve been watching my diet and at the same time practicing dance quite a lot,” he said, assuring fans that he was taking good care of himself so he could present a better self to them. He is spending more time on self-development these days, said Yunho, and had attended a contemporary dance lesson and a language lessons earlier that day before taking to V Live.
