Kang Seungsik of Victon took to V Live to catch up with fans after making a TV appearance and holding a practice session.

It was probably the first time he was doing a live segment on his own after changing his hair, he said, asking if viewers liked his dark blue hair. He had chosen the color but was slightly surprised to see the results, as it was more “blue” and darker than he expected, he said.

“But I really love it,” said the musician, “it kind of looks black as well and at the same time reminds me of (when we were promoting) ‘Remember Me.’” It has been about two years and the atmosphere is somewhat different, he noted, probably because he had lost weight.

“I‘ve gained quite a lot, in fact, since I haven’t had time,” he confided.

The second week of promoting ‘Howling,’ the lead track from the band‘s EP “Continuous,” has come to an end already, Kang said, and it was sad that they had not been able to meet their fans up close due to the COVID-19 outbreak.

NU'EST congratulates fans on new school year

Four bandmates of NU’EST, with the exception of Ren, sent congratulatory messages to fans who have started a new year.

Viewers commented on their navy and white varsity jackets, to which JR said that it was a 10-piece limited edition for the quintet.

“We have actually mentioned that it will be great to have our university while we were doing a voice-only live segment,” said Baekho and Hwang Minhyun, admitting that was a clue.

Taking on the role of college seniors, the four introduced themselves by taking three tests. First was finding the right major through answering a series of questions, and they teased the leader that he would not be able to answer some questions since he hated studying.

The results? Business for Hwang, visual design for Aron and psychology for Baekho. But JR wondered if law truly was the right recommendation for him -- “Are we sure this is done properly?” -- as the other bandmates burst into laughter.

Stray Kids' Seungmin can't wait for upcoming single

Seungmin of Stray Kids livestreamed while waiting in the car after an appointment.

He agreed with fans that the teaser images for the band’s forthcoming single are quite nice.

“Everyone looked so good in the photographs,” said the idol, adding that of course he too was holding his breath for the release date, set for Wednesday.

The boy band dropped “SKZ2020,” an album that chronicles their music career that started with “Hellevator,” a predebut single from January 2018.

He had a lot of fun recording “Get Cool” even though it would be a lie if he said it was not difficult for him, said Seungmin presumably referring to the fact that fellow vocalist Woojin left the band in October last year. “Grow Up” was another of his favorites, he added, thanking viewers for liking his contributions to the tracks.

ITZY thanks fans for surprise trophy

The bandmates of Itzy went live after coming in first place on a TV music chart program with “Wannabe.”

“Midzy was all we could think of, especially since none of us were expecting (to win),” said Yeji, referring to their official fandom.

They were about to thank fans more when their eyes went wide at the sight of a strawberry-topped cake.

“We were grateful even to be nominated but thanks to you, have topped it,” said Ryujin.

“We can see the tally but from a very small screen and the numbers go up so fast so it’s almost impossible to catch up,” said Lia. Ryujin was whispering that they might reach the top if the numbers kept going, but when the camera actually began to zoom in on them, they were utterly taken aback, she admitted.

“We are so happy that we made you proud today,” added Yuna, “and we will continue to do our best.”
