Suga of BTS went live from his label’s building in time for his birthday.

“Wow. It’s been less than a minute and over 200,000 of you are tuning in. It’s really amazing,” he said, looking at the screen.

He mentioned that the band had just wrapped up its promotional activities for “On,” the latest BTS single, on his birthday, wondering at the coincidence. They’d had a big meal of samgyeopsal, or pork belly, to mark both occasions, he told fans.

“And Jin treated all of us, as he promised during the live segment,” said the birthday boy.

He congratulated everyone who shared the same birthday and thanked fans for the billboard they’d put up to celebrate. About 40 minutes into the livestream, the artist lit the candles on his cake, which had a picture of him on top.

“Let’s sing, everyone. Get ready,” he asked viewers, singing “Happy Birthday” with them.

He misses seeing the BTS Army, the band’s official fandom, very much, said Suga. Performing on music programs without an audience -- a precaution due to the COVID-19 outbreak -- was “a little still.”

“Your supporting us really does boost us a lot,” he emphasized.

Seventeen’s Mingyu enjoys spicy noodle

Mingyu of Seventeen chatted with fans over a dinner of spicy noodles and homemade rice balls.

“This will be a slightly early ‘dinner show,’” he said as he heated up a frying pan to make a super-spicy instant chicken noodle dish.

Although he isn’t immune to the spicy flavor, he likes spicy food, said the performer.

“My mom would not be happy and ask me why I am eating (instant) ramen when she sees this. But you know how good this is,” he said. Then he brought out a tray of tuna and mayonnaise rice balls he’d made to enjoy with the noodles.

“It’s really simple to make and I really love them,” he told fans with a soft chuckle.

When the water started to boil, Mingyu ripped open the instant noodles with his teeth, admitting he was starving since it was his first meal of the day.

“This is just perfect,” he said, proudly mixing the spicy noodles.

GOT7’s Youngjae checks in on fans from home

Youngjae of GOT7 took to V Live alone, lounging on the couch at home.

“I have this huge breakout,” he said, pointing at a pimple right below his nose. He tried to make it stand out less by using different camera filters, but gave up and instead covered it with his finger while smirking.

The idol then was swept up into a discussion with his viewers about “dalgona” coffee, an exceptionally sweet take on latte that is all the rage on Korean social media.

He acknowledged that he’d heard about it and might take a shot at making it out of curiosity, but not today since his kitchen was quite messy.

He actually is not a big fan of sweeter varieties of coffee, Youngjae said, and one of the few sweet beverages he likes is muscat smoothie.

“Try adding a shot of aloe and tapioca, and it’s so good,” he recommended.

AB6IX's Woojin awaits music video release

Woojin of AB6IX is holding his breath for the upcoming release of his music video.

“Yes, mine is the only one left,” he said, going through fans’ comments.

He hasn’t seen the final edition yet, he said. Although he’s sure the visuals will turn out well and hopes fans will like it, he said he wasn’t completely satisfied.

“I wish I could have shown more of myself,” said the musician, but he stopped himself from saying any more.

As for the picture he’d posted on social media showing himself having some grilled meat with Youngmin, he explained that it had been an impromptu decision. He usually ordered in but that day he wanted to eat out as he was craving marinated beef.

Youngmin had gladly offered to pay for the food and Woojin had uploaded the picture because he wanted to brag about the meal, he explained.
