As many zealous BTS fans had already guessed, J-Hope was the man in the band’s trailer “Outro: Ego.”

The music video looks back on the past seven years of the main dancer’s career with a series of images captured from other music videos and trailers. Then the lights go up and J-Hope appears with his signature smile.

Against a dazzling collage of images, which keep changing in the background as he dances and raps, he collapses on the ground and is brought to a hospital. After doctors use a defibrillator to revive him, he is seen driving a classic car, seemingly going the wrong way past signs that say “Future” and “Follow Your Dream.”

Donning a tailored suit, he sings that he does not care now and everything is his choice, his destiny. The song is not only about hope but also is in line with Suga’s “Interlude: Shadow” from the same album as well as RM’s “Intro: Persona” from the previous album.

GOT7’s Yugyeom says hello from home studio

The youngest member of GOT7 took to V Live from his home studio.

“I woke up late and just took a shower before coming here,” he told viewers, smiling and waving.

Since returning from a trip to the US, he has been working on his own and practicing with his bandmates. The musician was also happy with his first solo photo shoot -- for MAPS, an art magazine.

Yugyeom put on Brockhampton’s “Sugar,” one of his recent favorite tracks, recommending that fans listen to it in the morning before playing several seconds of one of his own works in progress.

When fans begged for a longer sneak preview, he gave in and played a little more, this time making fans worry that he may have given away too much.

“I will probably work a little more on my songs today,” he said before bidding them goodbye.

NU’EST’s Ren reaches out to more fans after event

The five-piece act’s youngest member went live after an autograph session hosted by a beauty brand he models for.

Apologizing to fans for not having been on V Live for a while, he acknowledged that he had missed everyone and assured them that although the day’s fan event could accommodate only 100 people, there would be more opportunities to spend time together soon.

The performer also talked about Bumzu’s concert, held the previous day.

“He is such a great vocalist so it was as if my ears were melting,” he said of the musician, who has been working closely with the band, adding that bandmate Baekho’s guest appearance had made him feel very proud.

He assured fans that he was not tired and didn’t have a cold, although his voice might sound a little hoarse, probably from the fine dust. He had sung at the day’s event without having planned to and he was not satisfied with his performance, said Ren, despite fans’ compliments.

Super Junior in full control of variety show

Shindong, Eunhyuk, Donghae and Ryeowook of Super Junior appeared on “Idol Radio,” hosted by special DJs Jimin and Chanmi of AOA.

Before even getting a proper introduction, Eunhyuk showed off his dance skills while Donghae demonstrated his eagerness to be as close as possible to fans by pressing himself against the studio window.

After sitting down, Shindong apologized to the DJs as the bandmates wondered if they had lost a round of “rock, paper, scissors.” Befitting their 15-year career, the veteran idols were totally relaxed and did not flinch at the DJs’ demands -- including acting for a commercial while getting a drink from the fridge.

They gave a huge round of applause to Shindong, who had managed to lose 30 kilograms before the release of the band’s repackaged ninth album, “Timeless.”

Donghae was supposed to explain the album concept but instead asked the DJs to share their impression of lead track “2YA2YAO!” Then the bandmates went through each of their favorites from the album, including Eunhyuk’s “I Think I,” the Japanese version of which topped Oricon’s chart upon its release.
