Chenle and Renjun of NCT Dream went live in a car after cohosting a radio show.

Rejun told fans that he does not have a cold but acknowledged that his voice is slightly hoarse from pre-recording several episodes of his radio show over the past few days.

Chenle said he joined his bandmate as a disc jockey for the first time and Renjun added that it was the first time he has listened to his show as well.

“The job has changed Renjun‘s tone when he speaks Chinese,” teased Chenle, like that of an anchor.

Switching between Chinese and Korean, the pair continued to make fun of each other but was in perfect harmony when they belted out “Firefly.” Then Renjun announced to viewers that they will sing Jay Chou’s “Love Confession,” which they covered on stage during their concert, momentarily putting the bickering on hold.

“I have missed you so much. It has been about 20 days since our concert and although I‘ve done a live segment once, I so wanted to see you. And finally it is my turn,” said the performer adding that he has been waiting for the day with a craned neck.

“You can turn up the volume, for 30 minutes. After that, you might have to dial it down,” he said with a smile promising that he will stay calm at least while reading the posts sent by fans. As you know, I tend to shout and holler, he said, assuring viewers that his voice has recovered from the live concerts.

Lim’s mouth watered as he read through a fan‘s message that raved about malatang, a Chinese spicy hot pot.

“Yeah, it’s crazy delicious! When you sip the first spoonful, the unique spicy soup ... and the noodles ... isn‘t it just amazing?” he said acknowledging that talking about food boosts his spirits.

Astro’s Yoon Sanha tries making rice cake soup

In time for Lunar New Year’s Day, Yoon Sanha livestreamed while making tteokguk, rice cake soup Koreans traditionally eat on the day, for the first time on his own.

“It is based on the belief that the luck would stretch out like rice cake,” he explained confiding that he has looked it up online.

“I will make two servings since I am starving,” said the performer, “and will add some dumplings just like my mom did when I was young.”

After putting rice cakes in water to soak he started the portable gas stove to warm up the pot in advance but laughed embarassedly when it refused to ignite. Waiting for the replacement, he chopped the ingredients instead emphasizing that he has bought everything himself.

It took him about half an hour to cook, and carefully putting the soup into big bowls while lamenting that a dumpling has popped open, he told viewers that he has invited Moon Bin to enjoy his first tteokguk together.

“It is tteokguk,” said the bandmate after a bite, but Yoon blurted out that it was too salty.

ITZY‘s Ryujin goes live from Houston

Ryujin of the five-piece act took to V Live from her hotel bed on her own following a group live segment after its showcase event in Houston.

She smirked when a fan commented that the band is going live so often that it makes her nervous, adding that everyone of the group is very eager to do solo segment -- “to talk to you!” -- and have decided to take turns.

Going through the live chat room, the idol thanked fans and wished them a happy holiday, before breaking into a smile when someone complimented on her nails. Adjusting the camera, she showed the rest of the nails, or more accurately, what was missing from the bare nails.
“I had them done quite a while ago and my nails are very brittle so most (of the fake nails) are gone,” she told fans.

Ryujin then expressed gratitude to the band‘s fans at home and around the world with a thump up, telling viewers that all the Midzys, its official fandom, have been so welcoming and enthusiastic everywhere they have been to.
