For the 92nd episode of “Run BTS!” the septet continued its previous activity -- guessing which of their own songs they were hearing, after an app automatically read the lyrics in different languages.

With help from the kindhearted MC -- V -- as well as Jungkook, J-Hope finally managed to score a point, but he was already bracing himself for a penalty.

They then moved on to the next round -- a quiz game all about themselves. V asked if RM scored higher than 80 every time he sang at a karaoke. Everyone held up O signs, indicating “yes,” but the leader’s eyes went wide when he realized that he had to demonstrate his karaoke singing on the spot. Using an application, he sang “Epiphany” with dramatic flair, making everyone burst into laughter, but only scored 63.

For the next question -- asking who could hold a note the longest -- Jungkook beat V, who acknowledged that it wasn’t his best work.

Then it was time to see if V had the second-longest arms among all the band members. Almost everyone thought his arms would be the longest, and they all took off their jackets and started rolling up their sleeves.

How BTS inspired Starbucks: Kpop Herald

“This is one of the most exciting broadcasts we’ve ever done so far,” began Hong Dam-young of Kpop Herald, adding that she felt very lucky to get her hands on the drinks and sweets from “Be the Brightest Stars,” a collaborative project between Starbucks Korea and BTS.

She scooped up the campaign food from a nearby branch that was all decked out in purple, the band’s signature color.

Yim Hyun-su held up a paper cup of Blooming Purple Vin Chaud. “I am excited to try it,” he said, taking the lid off to sniff and sip the sweet, fruity beverage, noting that this was the first time the coffee franchise had teamed up with a K-pop group.

Starbucks Korea has joined hands with the band because “the group is known for their positive support for young people in Korea and around the world,” explained Hong.

“And some of the proceeds will go to a foundation to help finance a project to help young people,” added Yim.

GFriend’s Eunha takes stroll with fans

Eunha of GFriend livestreamed while taking a short walk. Explaining to fans that she had given up on going live inside as she could not find the right lighting and that she’d almost broken her phone trying to save her manager’s phone, the performer set out on a brisk night stroll.

“I had my hair dyed today. It’s pink and although it looks a little dark now, it will fade a little bit,” she said, turning down her manager’s offer to shed more light on her hair.

She struck some funny poses and giggled, happy that the weather was warmer than she thought. When she checked the temperature on her phone, however, it was minus 2 degrees Celsius.

“Really? I am barefoot but it doesn’t feel cold at all. Maybe because I am talking to you,” said Eunha.

Fans asked her to drop some hints about the group’s forthcoming album, its first since it joined Big Hit Entertainment, but she firmly refused. With mock seriousness, she said, “Unlike what you think, I am a thoughtful and prudent person who is always careful about what I do.”

Back in business, Infinite’s Sungkyu still awkward but happy

Sungkyu of Infinite went live after a media conference for a variety program in which he will be a regular alongside nine entertainers, including Jang Sungkyu and Park Myeongsu.

Acknowledging that it was awkward appearing on V Live after such a long time, he promised to do it as often as possible. He is busy preparing for the band’s upcoming concert -- “We really are practicing so hard!” -- as well as keeping up with a number of commitments, said the musician, who recently completed his military duty.

Confessing that he did not expect to be so active so soon after his return, he thanked everyone for giving him such opportunities and waiting for him, and he thanked one person in particular: a fan who has supported him since the age of 10.

“You must be 20 now,” said Sungkyu, shaking his head in amazement, “since it has been 10 years since I debuted. How time flies.”
