Taehyun and Beomgyu livestreamed while enjoying chicken together. It was hard to resist the dish in front of them, especially since it would be their dinner, the two said, showing viewers what they were preparing to dig into.

The pair jumped right at the food, calling their first live segment since one after winning a rookie award at Golden Disc Awards the “official” chicken eating show.

Beomgyu asked viewers if they like chicken as well, and Taehyun retorted, “Who doesn’t?” The latter added that it was all the more delicious as they had just finished practice.

“I actually put in another order thinking this will not be enough,” confided Beomgyu, “but don’t know when it will arrive.”

Both admitted they could not finish a whole chicken, and Beomgyu worried for a second that he may have ordered too much. But Taehyun was sure they could feed someone -- probably Yeonjun.

Seventeen’s Hoshi, Dino sit down for boxed meal

Hoshi and Dino of Seventeen took to V Live while helping themselves to boxed lunches in their hotel room in New York.

They had appeared on local Fox morning show “Good Day New York” earlier in the day, presenting their “Lilili Yabbay” and talking about their rise to stardom. On Friday, the band kicks off the North American leg of the tour, starting with a show in Newark, New Jersey.

“Oh, this is good,” said Dino, after sipping soup as Hoshi opened a can of tuna flavored with red pepper, savoring it with rice. Dino tried the dish himself shortly after and gave Hoshi a nod of understanding.

The two relished the meal with few comments and sounds of approval, when Dino finally looked at viewers’ comments on Hoshi’s smartphone he read out one that said: “Finally, looked at camera.”

At Hoshi’s suggestion, Dino told fans they had fun on the TV show and that he was glad they could showcase “Lilili Yabbay” for the first time on stage.

Victon’s Sejun catches up after concert

“I wanted to go live as soon as we wrapped up the concert, but it took me almost two days,” Victon’s Sejun said as an apology.

Fans asked him if he had caught a cold, hearing his voice was slightly different. He responded that it was not because of a cold, but because the muscles of his vocal cords had gone lax. A doctor told him that it was caused by the alleviation of tension after the live shows, which is why viewers could hear a lot of air when he talked, the idol explained, adding he was told not to sing for a week.

“Actually the reason I came on V Live is ... as you know I have been on a diet for four months ... and today I finally get to share my feasting on chicken!” he said happily. Rubbing his hands in anticipation, he brought out boxes of delivered chicken one by one, acknowledging it was quite a lot.

“If there is an Alice (the band’s official fans) who is on a diet, I sincerely am sorry,” said Sejun.

Stray Kids’ Changbin not ready to call it a day

“I don’t want to go home! I need you Stay!” Changbin called out using the band’s term for its fans. “I need someone to hang out with me!”

Changbin was going live on his own after the group livestreamed to thank fans for helping them win the rookie of the year award at the 2020 Gaon Chart Music Awards.

He reprimanded himself for not doing his solo segment for a while and launched into a series of appeals to Stay to stay with him.

“I have no intention of going home now and seeing those faces (of the bandmates) I see every day. I need some healing time,” he joked, saying that reading through the messages sent by fans would be the cure. This may be the only other thing I need, he said, pulling out a small bag of Haribo gummy snacks with a grin. Changbin said it was his favorite and that he may change his stage name as a rapper to MC Haribo.
