Sungkyu of Infinite said hello to fans after completing his mandatory service in the Army on Wednesday. Being the first to do so he sent a message of encouragement to the rest of his bandmates who are still serving their duty, wishing them well, before greeting a group of fans.

“I am so happy, really,” the musician began and took a deep bow to thank everyone for waiting. The first thing he will do back as a civilian will be to have a nice meal with his family, he said, who have come to Seoul to see him.

Although it has been hard not being able to see people as often as he wanted to, serving in the army let him contemplate on his life, said Sungkyu. He will miss those who have been with him during the last two years but also cannot wait to go back to his main job, singing.

“It was definitely not a short wait and I really want to pay back so that fans would not regret it,” promised the performer.

The pair started with greetings in four languages: Korean, English, Chinese and Thai.

“You must be very curious where we are. We are in our new house! Let me introduce my studio,” said Yuqi proudly, moving the camera around to show her favorite spot where she has put some albums, including that of Dua Lipa, on display. Minnie also waited until the camera showed her treasure, a tin can full of butter cookies from Taiwan.

“This is so good ... and I am going to steal it later,” said Minnie.

Yuqi also let viewers take a peek at a cozy corner of a small gray sofa telling them Minnie also has the same one but slightly bigger.
