[The Korea Herald] Solo livestreaming makes Hueningkai of Tomorrow X Together nervous, the musician admitted before showing fans a whiteboard with a grid full of numbers -- a math puzzle called a sudoku.

His bandmates had shared content on topics ranging from dance to arts and crafts, he said, and he had been thinking about what kinds of activities he could do with his fans.

“It might be boring for some people, but I was a member of a sudoku club when I was in elementary school and thought it might be fun to solve some puzzles with you,” the idol told viewers. Some fans still complained about having to do math, but he appeased them, saying it was more of a puzzle and doing it together would be fun.

He tried to explain the basics first, but changed his mind and decided to explain the rules as he went along. Then Beomgyu dropped by and turned up the pressure by telling Hueningkai it would be a disaster if he could not crack the puzzle.

Seventeen asks fans to stay together

The bandmates from Seventeen took to V Live after an award ceremony expressing gratitude to their official fandom, the Carats, for supporting them throughout 2019 and their wish to continue growing with them.

“We had a full year coming out with ‘Home,’ the lead track from our sixth EP, ‘You Made My Dawn,’ as well as the digital single ‘HIT,’” said Hoshi, “and it felt as if we were wrapping up the songs from 2019 onstage.”

It also was especially meaningful because Seventeen won the main award, which was a feat, said the boys, asking the fans to continue supporting them as they took steps up and forward together.

“We have prepared a lot for the ceremony, each and every one presenting different performances,” said Seungkwan, praising The8 and Junghan in particular. The bandmates gave the two a big round of applause, acknowledging The8’s outstanding solo choreography and Junghan for returning to join them onstage.

“Watching you perform for the year-end ceremonies on television felt strange,” confided Junghan, who had been taking a break. “And for some reason you seemed to be having more fun.”

SF9’s Youngbin surprises fans with early V Live

Youngbin of SF9 took to V Live to explain why he couldn’t do his weekly solo segment on Monday. “As many of you know,” he said, “I am taping an athletic competition program for K-pop idols and it will end quite late, so I decided to do this today instead.”

He also warned fans that he hadn’t had much time to prepare for the livestream and didn’t know what he was about to say.

“I am very confused about what has been made public and what hasn’t, although basically, everything is out,” said the leader of the band with a defeated smirk. H was referring to “Good Guy,” the lead track from the band’s first full-length album, “First Collection.”

Chanhee and Rowoon had already sung the chorus on an entertainment program and the music video had been released. One of the costumes had been revealed too.

“Even the highlight medley and track list are out. ... So why not?” said the performer, playing part of the title track before suggesting that fans stay awake until midnight.

Stray Kids have fun shooting video

The boy band Stray Kids uploaded a behind-the-scenes video of the shooting of the “Mixtape: Gone Days” video.

Even between takes the eight members stayed true to the concept, which Bang Chan described as “cute rebellions” -- striking silly poses, playing games with props from the classroom scenes, and dancing to music on a tablet.

“I can see your belly so well,” said Hyunjin, pointing at Changbin’s midsection while monitoring the scene.

“The set looks very much like (the classroom) from my high school. I slept a lot when I was in high school,” confessed Felix, adding, “But I also want to go back to the time.”

“I am sort of like our fan, a student who loves idols. Of all the idol groups, I love Stray Kids,” said I.N, sending hearts to fans during a break.

For a double shot, Lee Know and Felix had to look at each other but could not suppress smiles.
