V of BTS went live on Tuesday, one day after his birthday, from his hotel room in New York.

"My birthday has passed but I wanted to do V Live ... so here I am," he said. The staff has prepared sheets of paper that spelled out happy birthday messages but he did not feel like putting them up, he confided.

The artist acknowledged what looked like a pimple on his cheek, turning his head around to show it to viewers when he saw comments about it.

"Yes, I've got company. Someone I don't want to hang out with," he said.

Although he did not get to eat miyeokguk on his birthday, he had a great meal with all the bandmates after touching down at the city.

"It has been kind of agreed among ourselves not to give gifts but J-Hope got me something on our way back to the hotel. I was touched," V told viewers turning on Quincy Jones' "I Heard That."

Seventeen’s Joshua celebrates birthday

Joshua of Seventeen thanked fans for celebrating his birthday together.

Sporting blue hair beneath matching beanie, he asked fans if they liked his blue-toned appearance -- "The only thing that is not blue right now, is my face" -- and said that it was good to see fans at the taping, especially on his birthday. So many of fans wished him happy birthday and he feels blessed, said the idol with a smile.

"I am so happy!" he said blowing a kiss as requested.

"I cannot give you any clues, though, for tomorrow's concert," he said apologetically.

"It will be better to keep your anticipation high. Make sure to watch tomorrow's broadcast as we prepared quite hard for this," said the idol.

Mamamoo happy to be back

Moonbyul and Solar of Mamamoo retured as a pair after a long while.

"I am in such good mood!" said Solar asking fans to understand that they want to remain upbeat wrapping up the last day of 2019.

As the two squabbled, fans told them that they are back 329 days after their last livestreaming, sending them into a bout of laughter.

"Well, it's less than a year, though," said Moonbyul.

Solar fiddled with background of the V Live application when viewers continued to post complaints about it.

As for her feelings on turning 30, Solar acknowledged that she is both sad and excited.

"It sounded like a big number when I was younger, but now I see it is rather mature. And I am curious what I can be and what I will be doing," said the musician.

iKON says hi from Japan

Kim Donghyuk of iKON took to V Live one hour into New Year's Eve.

Appearing with a chicken head using an application, the idol said hello from Japan where the band is having concerts.

"It is almost 1 a.m. but we are going on stage again tomorrow and then will return to Korea and it will be too late. But I wanted to talk to you Dec. 31 so decided to go live," he told viewers admitting that he is slightly tired after the live show.

He played with the buttons of the application saying that he will try everything since it is the last day of the year before realizing that he has not said "Happy New Year."

Kim also showed viewers his new hair style pulled up into a knot.

"My hair has gotten long and kept coming into my face so I decided to try this," he said.
