Covering his hair still wet from the practice with a hoodie, he tinkered with a keyboard playing “Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star” and thanked fans for letting them top a music chart program for the second time this year.

“I have asked you to share happy moments from your everyday lives and about 95 percent of you said Stray Kids make you happy,” said the idol with a smile admitting that he was touched.

“We are really glad, of course, but I want you to have many different ways to find joy in life. I hoped asking you to post what made you feel happy since I wanted it to be a chance to reflect on your day for the good things you had,” he told fans.

When he came across a word play sent by a fan, Hyunjin first said it was as silly as that of Changbin but acknowledged that it was actually fun. At fans’ urging, he called Lee Know but the bandmate barely responded.

“I just wanted to go live ... and also wanted to hear what your plans for Christmas are since it is only days away,” he said showing a golden reindeer and a small tree in the same color in the back.

He has already had a busy day, hosting a live audio show “School Road” in the morning and practicing at the studio before sitting down to chat with fans.

It took him a few minutes to realize that he has not turned on the music for the segment.

“I have prepared some jazz music I thought would go well with the Christmas theme but since I haven’t done V Live in a while and was nervous, I have forgotten,” said the idol putting on the music.

He agreed with fans that he himself is looking forward to the band‘s concert set for February next year and went through the plans viewers posted online, asking them what their recommendations are for him.

He has joined the entertainment program that features celebrities, including Shin Hyunjun, Eun Jiwon and Yui, trying out as aircraft crews.

“After the event, I helped out (Jung) Chanwoo film for his YouTube channel and went to do some recording,” he said thanking fans for tuning in even though he did not notify them in advance.

Song asked viewers to watch the first episode but confided that he is quite nervous since it has been a long while he has been on television.

“You will see a lot of me being dumb as well but please bear with me. I did my very best and at the same time was so happy while shooting it as the senior actors were so nice. Hopefully those feelings will be felt,” he said.

He also reminded fans of two big news: that the band is busy preparing for return and that he will go live on his YouTube channel making cookies for Christmas.

“We really enjoyed talking to you about K-Pop ... listening to your stories and comments,” began Ahn Sung-mi. She thanked for all the messages of support and told viewers that they were so heartwarming, as fellow reporters nodded their agreement.

They have decided to raise the number of winners to 12, from 10, and each will choose four from the lucky draw bowl. Those who have been chosen can let them know what three albums they most want, along with their names and addresses via e-mail, although there is no guarantee that they will receive those, explained Yim Hyun-su.

Vicky from New Zealand was the first to be selected from the lot followed by Gracielle Darnayla from Philippines and Fie from the US. The reporters carefully laid out the pieces of paper for all 12 and their eyes met and agreed that they should go for just one more round.

A viewer that goes by ID Fitri from Indonesia posted on the chat board that when she learned that she won, she rushed to her niece to share the news and “they almost got heart attack.”
