Yuna and Chaeyreong shared the story of how they got into JYP Entertainment. During the group’s Saturday live broadcast, the two ITZY girls communicated with fans while lying on their hotel bed, sharing that they just returned from a rehearsal for their fan meeting in Manila, Philippines.

After talking about their skin care routines and their way of talking on messenger apps, a fan asked how they got to pursue a K-pop career.

Yuna went first, saying, “I was cast by JYP Entertainment back in 2015 when I visited KBS Music Awards with my sister. One woman approached me and gave me her name card saying that she would call me later,” Yuna said. She shared that she didn’t believe it at first, as she thought it might be a fraud.

She originally wanted to become a news anchor, but she later received a call from the casting manager and decided to take an audition.

Chaeryeong, who’s always wanted to become a singer, said that she searched online on how to become a K-pop star and sought ways to pass an audition.

“After a phone audition, I got to feature in an audition program called ‘Kpop Star.’ But I failed, which left me in a trauma. Now I’m over it, but I used to get so nervous about singing in the past.”

ITZY is currently on a world tour, set to visit Singapore on Dec. 13.

Sana answered fans’ questions before going to bed. The Twice vocalist took to V Live Saturday night, clad in a comfortable-looking sweatshirt. “I am tired and I wanted to go to bed, but I thought I should turn on V Live first,” she told viewers, looking surprised by the flood of comments.

After receiving compliments about her new hairstyle, Sana said, “I took a bold step to change my hairstyle and it feels good to receive compliments. I liked my previous blonde and pink hair, and I had a lot of other colors I wanted to try out, but my hair was damaged. I wanted to take a break from bleaching the roots of my hair. I feel great about it.”

Sana also went on to talk about various topics such as Twice’s recent Hi Touch event, her upcoming birthday and her favorite food from school, to name a few.

Thanking fans for putting up advertisements to celebrate her birthday, she added, “At subway stations and convenience stores you’ve already begun celebrating my birthday. So I took a screenshot. I’m not sure whether I will be able to visit those places, but I will try.”
