The trio was happy to stream live after a long break, and at the same time amazed by how quickly the number of viewers went up.

“It has only been 20 seconds and look, it is 20,000, 30,000, 40,000,” said Chanyeol.

“We have been in a radio program and are on our way to the next scheduled activity,” explained Kai, apologizing in advance that they would have to keep it short. Meanwhile, Chanyeol reported that the viewers had reached 80,000, with 300,000 hearts clicked.

“You are quite obsessed with those numbers,” said Kai, as Chanyeol acknowledged that he cares about tangible results.

“We have a new manager and would like to him to say hi,” said Baekhyun turning the camera to show entertainer Jang Sung-kyu, who introduced himself as the band’s new manager.

As for their radio appearance, Baekhyun admitted that he felt more at ease compared to how nervous he was when they were still rookies.

“I wish we could do more -- if only the radio stations are closer,” he added.

“We are so happy and wanted to thank you for letting us win two trophies!” said the bandmates, who were also named on the list of “Top 10 Worldwide Fans’ Choice,” alongside the likes of BTS, EXO and Twice.

“This is the first time we received two in an awards ceremony,” said Hueningkai.

“I was nervous since we were nominated for the rookie award -- but the Fans’ Choice, I did not even imagine to be part of it,” said Taehyun, as his bandmates nodded and said they were not anxious as none of them were even expecting to be chosen.

“We have had our ups and downs this year, but it is rewarding to win the rookie award,” admitted Taehyun.

The band praised the youngest member on his first solo performance, giving him a round of applause before bringing in a cake and singing “Happy Birthday” for Soobin.

He began by asking fans to be understanding that he was bare-faced again, pretending to wait for the special guest of the day whose blond hair was peeking out.

The first song he prepared to share with fans was Taeyeon’s “Gravity,” recommended by an acquaintance, saying it her voice makes him feel many different feelings.

He gave a thumbs-up to the next song recommended by a fan, “Blueming” by IU, before nudging his bandmate to join. Felix popped out to the embrace of Bang Chan, who reminded him that the last time they did the segment together was for episode No. 14.

Felix said he had prepared a long list of songs to share. Going through the live feed of comments from fans, Felix thanked fans for liking his freckles that were accentuated in recently released teaser photos. The leader told him that he finds them charming, but Felix said he has too many of the spots.

“Our schedule has been quite leisurely, allowing us time to enjoy meals together and feel the festivities while appearing on the ‘Today’ show and participating in a Thanksgiving event,” he told fans. The band performed for the American morning show’s annual concert series at Rockefeller Plaza in New York, and became the first K-pop act to join the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.

“Tomorrow we will go to San Jose and then head to Johnny’s hometown, Chicago, before returning to Seoul. After that we will have concerts in Japan and also prepare for year-end events,” said the idol, gently turning down a request to drop clues for an upcoming concert, telling the fan to please come to the live show.

Yuta asked fans if they had seen the trailer for a new episode of “NCT Life,” the band’s reality program.
