“I did not mean to chastise fans but I got carried away while talking, so it could have sounded that way,” he said.

He had mentioned that he could be the subject of gossip and that he believes it comes with his job.

People are interested in his activities, he said, as he is in the entertainment business.

For instance, viewers may chat about celebrities over drinks with friends, and he could be among their topics of conversation, said the musician.

In the previous segment, he said that blaming the band’s staff, not him, really gets on his nerves.

He does not want people around him to get hurt, said Mino, apologizing if he had caused any hurt feelings.

“Without you, fans, I will not exist ... and that is a fact that will never change,” he emphasized.

Special DJ Mina of Gugudan congratulated the band on topping a music chart program with “As You Wish,” the lead track from its new EP of the same title.

“We have just won the trophy before coming here,” the bandmates said, hooting and clapping.

Eunseo said thank you to their families and friends, apologizing for not having mentioned them onstage.

The bandmates were surprised when Mina announced that WJSN had sold over 50,000 copies of the EP upon its release, setting its own record. The news sent Eunseo into tears.

They talked about the rest of the EP. Dayoung began by showing the content of the CD in the manner of a home-shopping host.

As for the title track, Eunseo said it centered on the group’s desire to make everyone’s wishes come true.

She told viewers that Dawon and Dayoung have to lift her up as part of the dance moves for the bridge of the track, replacing SeolA and Luda, as they had a hard time hoisting the tallest member.

In the under one-minute video that hints at an post-apocalyptic setting, the six musicians show off powerful dance moves and demonstrate superpowers -- a recurring theme for the band since its debut.

Since earlier this month, a series of teaser images, signaling a battle against another EXO created by evil red spirits, has been generating excitement among fans.

The clip was supposed to be released Monday, but S.M. Entertainment postponed it in light of Koo Hara’s death the previous day. It also canceled the media event scheduled for Wednesday, but the album will go on sale as planned the same day.

The band’s new album comes 11 months after “Love Shot,” a repackaged version of its fifth album, with which it set a record, with all five full-length albums selling over 1 million copies.

Xiumin and DO will not be able to join promotions for the album, as they are serving their military duties.

The new EP comes 1 1/2 years after the release of “Bingle Bangle.” The group is returning as a five-piece act.

In the music video for “Come See Me,” which combines strong beats with lyrical guitar sounds, the bandmates exude lethal beauty. Armed with guns and other weapons, they set out to hunt down the moon, setting themselves free from the ever-watching entity, instead of waiting for someone to help.

The 8-year-old group started out as an octet, but after three reshuffles, it has become a quintet. The band has proven itself on TV programs that feature competition among female bands. Its new song landed at the top of several music charts.
