The trio announced that they were the three strongest members of the band, and Youngbin asked Jaeyoon if he remembered wondering out loud if Inseong really was good at fighting during their previous live segment.

“Are you declaring war against me?” asked Inseong.

“He really can fight well,” said Jaeyoon, but quickly added, “in his dreams.”

“I may take down three in four seconds,” said Inseong, simulating a fist fight.

Youngbin then told his bandmates and viewers that he had been watching a number of YouTube videos on Kartrider, a racing game.

“Are there any of you who are good at this game?” the performers asked. Jaeyoon quietly said he actually was on the level of a starred rainbow glove, having played the game since 2004.

Inseong and Youngbin were amazed at the skills of their bandmate, who admitted that he had done some racing.

“I used to play the game as well, but now I only watch the videos. I am a huge fan of Moon Ho-joon,” one of the most famous players of the game, said Youngbin. He is a subscriber to the pro gamer’s channel and often visits whenever he has a hectic schedule and needs to just forget about everything.

IU discusses her new EP

IU returned to Naver’s V Live after two years to announce that she was resuming her music career with her fifth EP, “Love Poem.”

“I have no script,” she said, laughing, and confided that it had been a hectic day. She had never had less time than this to think about the release of the album, she said, although it would go on sale in less than an hour.

“I have been touring while finishing up the album and also been dyeing my hair in different colors every week,” chuckled the singer-actress.

She then picked up her new album, which looked like a book of poems, befitting the title. After hesitating a moment, lest it spoil the fun of unboxing the album for those who would get the EP later, IU let viewers have a sneak peek.

“I wanted this to convey the feeling of reading a real book,” she said, showing a picture of herself -- one of her favorites -- with a blurb underneath that resembled that of an author.

Seventeen takes up challenge at campsite

As the bandmates from Seventeen were enjoying snacks in the 22nd episode of their reality program, suddenly the snack table was taken away and they had to earn it back by playing games.

After looking at a “menu” setting out all the prizes they could obtain, they were ready for a series of missions that paid “diamonds” that could be traded for the items.

Joshua chose the first game, in which only a certain number of the 13 members, except for the one selected by the show’s staff, had to stand up when the producer of the show called out numbers. The boys came up with the idea of using their own numbers to make it easier to coordinate.

For the first round, the producer called Wonwoo and No. 3. In line with the plan, Jeonghan (No. 2) and Joshua (No. 3) stood up. But S.Coups hesitated, despite the fact that he was No. 1, and the band protested wildly at the leader.

“We, thanks to our staff, have prepared something special for those who come see us perform in the first week of our return,” said Eunseo, turning to look at Yeoreum. The latter showed a handful of photo cards and told viewers that she couldn’t show anyone the pictures or the messages yet.

Dayoung was holding a group shot of the 10 band members in equestrian clothing, complete with riding boots.

Picking up the new EP and showing viewers the back of the jacket with its track list, Soobin said “Don’t Touch” was her favorite. Some of the members started singing the chorus of the song, the last track on the seven-song EP, and Soobin hastily stopped them from singing too much of it.
