Eleven-piece K-pop group X1 dressed up for Halloween this year, first drawing lots before getting into their animal costumes to celebrate.

In the video, recorded Oct. 26 and uploaded Nov. 3 on V Live, the members drew lots to decide who would wear which outfit.
Seung-youn seemed particularly excited as he shook the box before drawing No. 10. Woo-seok ended up with outfit No. 4.

With the 11 bags lined up in front of them, the band members soon channeled their inner animals: an elephant, a panda, a penguin and a frog, to name just a few.

Eun-sang seemed to like his lion outfit. “How do I look?” he asked as he showed off his chest. “Wow, when did I gain so much muscle?” he said with a laugh.

Min-hee, who was meant to be a giraffe, struggled with his outfit, however, as the head kept falling down, drawing laughs from the others.

The two decided to stage a “meokbang,” or eating show, during their first V Live show, with their room service steak. And in a sign of their popularity, over 20,000 viewers tuned in within just a few minutes.

Despite being in the same group, the two have different tastes when it comes to steak, with Hyunsuk preferring his steak with sauce while Seunghun prefers it plain so he can enjoy the taste of the meat.

“I have children’s taste buds. I need rice, kimchi and danmuji (yellow pickled radish),” Hyunsuk said. “Coke tastes the best.”

This prompted Seunghun to ask, “What about the steak?”

Viewers asked where the rest of the group was, and the two singers said they had been waiting with the food to livestream for fans.
It’s safe to say Hyunsuk and Seunghun’s first livestream on V Live was a success, considering that it drew over 100,000 viewers.

The song was written by Louis Schoori, Marco Borrero, Benjamin Ingrosso and David Brook, while none other than J.Y. Park took part in writing the lyrics.

The video features the bandmates taking notes, appearing to write down track titles such as “Pray.”

The record’s second track is packed with strong bass and a heavy dose of powerful beats.

The group teamed up with Jonas Blue for the third track, “Now or Never,” while “Crash Burn” is as strong as it sounds.

The trailer was met with a warm reception from fans, who called it a “10 out of 10” and left comments such as “I’m buying the album for sure.”

The album is slated for release at 6 p.m. on Nov. 4.

Sunyoul of Up10tion answers fan questions

Sunyoul of the 10-piece group Up10tion streamed solo to answer a number of questions from fans.

“Will we see a performance of ‘Look at Me’ at the fan meeting event? Let us know since this is the first command,” one fan asked.
Smiling slightly, Sunyoul was being clever in his answer as he said, “If you want to find out …”

The musician was also asked to share some tips for sleeping.

“I used to eat a lot (before bed) in the past. When you feel full, you could fall asleep. But that can lead to inflammation of the esophagus so I don’t do that anymore. Nowadays, I just put down my phone.”

Continuing with his tips, he added, “I know it’s hard to put down your phone, but you can go to the settings and make the screen black and white. That way, you don’t want to be looking at the screen.”

He also shared the classic sleeping tip: counting to 100 backward.

Another fan got accepted into the university that Sunyoul attended and wanted to share the news with the singer.

The fan also asked whether it would be possible to commute from Seoul as the campus is quite far afield.

“It takes around three hours (both ways),” the singer warned before suggesting that the fan live with a roommate near the university.
