“I am a little hungry,” confessed Doyoung, explaining why he sounded slightly tired.

“He has been asking me to eat tteokbokki with him,” Johnny told fans.

Doyoung said he had looked through some compilation videos full of funny moments from the band’s livestreams.

“There was one from our visit to Japan and there were almost 20 people going on live together,” he said. In the video, Lucas said “Ikea!” instead of “Ikuzo!” (“Let’s go!” in Japanese) and a fan added the company’s logo just in time. It was hilarious, said the idol.

Johnny agreed, adding he was amazed at the fans’ video editing skills. They even made videos funny when the bandmates did not realize they had done anything funny, he said.

The pair also talked about Mark playing guitar in one video, the first in the 24 Hour Relay Cam series featuring each of the bandmates. Johnny was impressed while Doyoung confided that as Mark’s roommate, he had begged him to play something instead of practicing one part over and over again.

“I am a bit worried, though,” said Doyoung of his upcoming video, scheduled for release on Saturday.

“Frankly, I don’t even remember what I did,” said Johnny.

“I have just finished practicing and will eat while talking to you,” he said, showing them a pack of salad and some chicken breast. He said the food was for a healthy diet and told fans he would enjoy more delicious food later. But he really liked vegetables, even when he was younger, said Choi. When fans told him he should have added the meat to the salad he had already finished, he regretted not having thought of it himself.

He then talked about his solo fan meeting event, saying it had already been eight days and he could not believe how fast time had flown by.

“I was so moved by the handwritten messages you have prepared and showed me at the event. It was a total surprise. And I found a video of it on YouTube uploaded by a fan and watched it again alone, trying not to cry but failing,” the performer told fans.

The five members greeted fans in pajamas while lying on their stomachs, relaxing on mattresses in a room decorated with pumpkins, spiders, bats and mummies. Halloween was also the main theme of their fan meeting the previous day, they told viewers.

Before beginning the late-night talk in earnest, the boys celebrated the news that the band’s V Live channel had topped 1 million followers, showing off a trophy to mark the milestone.

“Thank you so much and we will continue to do our best until the number grows to 2 million and 3 million,” said leader JR.

The bandmates talked about “Love Me,” the lead track from their recently released album.

It is an upbeat song and it is nice to be able to smile onstage, they agreed.

“When I first heard the song, it got stuck in my head,” said Re, giving it two thumbs up.

While the bandmates were busy having their hair and makeup done in a waiting room, Jang Wonyoung and Ahn Yujin came up to Choi Yena to celebrate her birthday. “Please insert some special effects here later,” said Jang.

“It will be too difficult,” Choi said, only to be surprised that the staff was willing to add the effects. “Then I want some,” said the birthday girl, gesturing in front of the camera.

When they went onstage, however, everyone was focused on the performance.

“This is the (second and) last day of KCON and we will be presenting ‘Sunflower’ for the first time,” said Kim Minju, complimenting Honda Hitomi and Yabuki Nako on how cute they had been in rehearsal.

“You are good at winking,” Kim told Honda, who was pleasantly surprised that the bandmate had seen her wink on the monitor.
