Two NCT members surprised fans by taking to V Live for the first time together.

In a moving van, Renjun of NCT Dream and Doyoung of NCT 127 told fans that they were on the way home from BoA’s concert in Seoul. Their casual broadcast sent fans into a frenzy, as it was their first time seeing the two members from the separate NCT subunits appearing on V Live together.

“I know that you guys are surprised by our being together. We decided to turn on the broadcast, as we’d thought there wouldn’t be another chance,” said Renjun. “At BoA’s concert, a person who took our photo together told us that we didn’t look so friendly, so we answered, ‘Yes, we just met today,’” he added.

Despite looking a bit awkward, the singers continued their effort to break the ice by talking about the concert.

“I’ve been to concerts of Super Junior, TVXQ and BoA, and they remind me of old memories. Especially ‘Valenti’ and ‘No.1’ from today’s concert, they were very famous when I was in elementary school,” said Doyoung.

Renjun chimed in, saying, “I really liked ‘Only One’ by BoA as a student. I’d even prepped its choreography. It was really awesome that I got to see it for myself today.”

Admitting that it is sometimes hard for NCT members to get to know one another, as the group has so many members, Renjun and Doyoung promised each other to keep in touch.
