It was the third and last of the segment themed around Hangeul Day, the Oct. 9 holiday to celebrate the Korean alphabet.

The septet continued a game that required them to put stickers, each with their own color, on their respective target while gathering puzzles to make a letter that can be traded for more stickers.

They chased one another, some at the top of the game and some not even knowing who their enemy was. V managed to convince Jimin that he was not following him, pretending to offer help with the sticker panel on the back while putting a bunch of green stickers on Jimin, who even thanked him for the kind gesture. V knew Jin was targeting him, but enjoyed Jin and Jimin wrestling over the puzzles.

Meanwhile RM, J-Hope and Jungkook were caught up in a maddening triangle, hiding and running. RM admitted that he and Jungkook had formed an alliance, while the youngest member tried in vain to keep it a secret. With five minutes remaining, the two gave up on finding J-Hope again and decided to stake out the bathroom.

As soon as he began his solo segment, Jisung called him to check the live chat message he sent, leading Jeno to try to find it. After a while, though, Jeno gave up and shared the good news.

“Thanks to all of you, we will be able to add a day the concert schedule. Now it will be from the 15th, lasting for three days. Thank you!” said the idol. He reminded fans that tickets go on sale Thursday and wished them luck.

Some fans suggested inviting Mark, a former member of the subunit, to the live show. Jeno thought it was a great idea, chuckling and saying that Mark should be a surprise guest and go to the stage after only singing his part.

He also confirmed that the red marks on his arm were mosquito bites.

“I always get bitten, probably because I am blood type A and it tastes better,” said the performer, bursting into laughter when a fan said she wanted to be a mosquito for a day.

She thanked fans for wishing her a happy birthday and for liking her new blond hair as well.

“I am glad you like the color since my scalp has suffered a lot for this,” said Cho. Later she cracked herself up when a fan mentioned that the colors of her hair and skin were now too similar, making her look bald.

The night before, her bandmates threw her a party with a cake. It was supposed to be a surprise, but Cho had spotted Lee Chaeyeon sneaking in with the cake. As per Lee’s request, though, she pretended to not have seen it, said the birthday girl.

She has also been to one of the cafes produced by her fans marking her birthday.

“It was extraordinary and looking at the pictures from the early days brought back many memories,” she said.

She had no specific wishes for now, but when she turns 20, she wants to get her driver’s license, she added.

Tomorrow X Together proves worthy of expectations: K-pop Herald

K-pop Herald reporters discussed Tomorrow X Together’s first full-length album, titled “The Dream Chapter: Magic.”

There are two versions, the black “Arcadia” and green “Sanctuary,” they explained, showing a seafoam green album jacket that came out the day before. It comes about seven months after the group’s debut EP, “The Dream Chapter: Star.”

The studio album includes eight tracks, with the lead single “Runaway,” but the Korean title is really long, roughly translated as “I will wait for you at the platform between 9 and 3/4,” said Yim Hyun-su. The title is a reference to the Harry Potter book and movies series, hinting that the group is trying to find a magical place where they can escape from school or their daily lives, added Ahn Sung-mi.

The boy band consists of five members aged between 17 and 20, and is billed as the litter brother group to BTS, as it is the first boy band coming after the septet from Big Hit Entertainment. The showcase had been covered by quite a lot of Korean and international media, said Ahn, who attended the event.

The lead track is a synth-pop number and comes with creative choreography. Having seen them on stage at the showcase, she could see that their stage presence has improved, and they had built up their confidence.
