Kongthap Peak, who competed on the Mnet program “Produce X 101” in the latest season, went live from his home country, Thailand, with visiting Kpop Herald reporter Hong Dam-young.

Peak greeted his fans wearing a green sweater and sitting on a couch in a Bangkok shopping mall. In response to a fan’s comment that green suited him, Peak said, “I don’t usually wear green, but my mom bought it and I was like, why not?”

When Hong asked what Peak had been up to, he said he was busy filming a new drama called “Dare to Love.”

“I am the main character in the drama and this is my first time acting,” he said. “I am very excited. The concept of the drama is different-age romance. I am falling in love with a woman who is older. I am in love with nuna,” he said, using a Korean word to refer to an older woman.

“It shows love is possible through any age gap,” he said.

“Love conquers all,” replied Hong.

When fans asked when Peak was coming to South Korea, he said next month. “I will be in Korea for the Seoul Fashion Week,” he said, adding he would do some modeling for a streetwear brand and another label.

Also, he said, a new EP is in the making. He is very excited about the upcoming three-track album, with the songs to be released both in Korean and English. “The first song is finished and I am now working on the second song -- that’s a remake -- and the third one is also on its way.”

With a Korean fan meeting slated for Nov. 3, Peak is brushing up on his Korean by watching Korean dramas and studying hard. During the afternoon, he said he was planning to go shopping with Hong, giving viewers a heads up that the special video would be released on the Kpop Herald channel.

The boys were excited to be back in the city and looking forward to some good Thai food. Changbin was also peeling some fruit to eat.

Later on, Lee Know and I.N, who are roommates for the trip, went live again from their room, waiting for their luggage to arrive.

“I can’t take a shower yet because my luggage hasn’t arrived yet,” said Lee Know. “Until then, we will chat with our fans.”

One of the viewers asked the two how to avoid waking up with a puffy face.

“One way is not to eat and sweat out,” said Lee Know. “Yes, I run on the treadmill for 25 minutes,” said I.N. “But the easiest way is to skip dinner.”

They also recommended drinking pumpkin juice or red bean water.

Blackpink shares last moments before world tour finale

On the 15th episode of “Blackpink Diaries,” the girl band shared footage of the last stop on its world tour: Sydney, Australia.

The bandmates went to a zoo to see the koalas and feed them before the concert. After looking around the Aussie city, Rose and Lisa stopped at a convenience store to try some of the country’s famous meat pies.

Rose, who was born in New Zealand and has also lived in Australia, recalled stopping at the convenience store after school every day with her sister and father to get some meat pies.

The two ordered classic sausage rolls, a beef, bacon and cheese pie and a chunky beef pie to go. While eating them in the car, they kept saying, “Wow this is really good.”

After the Sydney concert, the girls traveled to Bangkok for an encore show.

On the plane, Jennie showed off her new camera that she had recently purchased to film her vlog.

During the Bangkok concert, the band members got emotional and tearfully wrapped up the yearlong tour.

“Thank you for supporting us for the last three days,” said Thai native Lisa in Thai. “While on tour, I heard many people say Blackpink gives you strength. But you know what? You have been our strength and we are touched by your big support every time. I am not good with words, but thank you so much, Blinks (Blackpink’s fandom).”

“The four of us did really well,” said teary-eyed Rose. “I am very proud of each and every one of us because we went through a lot.”

“The tour, which we had been doing since last year, came to an end,” said Jisoo. “I am glad we were able to finish it well, without anyone getting injured. Thank you, everyone, for joining our first world tour.”

“Every show had a different vibe and energy and it all meant so much for us,” said Jennie. “It was such an honor having to visit so many countries. This was our only first tour and we hope to see more of you in the future and on our next tour.”
