All nine members of Super Junior have completed their military duty over the last decade and will make a comeback with their ninth album next month, which will be shared through the reality program “SJ Returns.”

In the first episode, the bandmates gathered at a restaurant telling the owner that their youngest member Kyuhyun was discharged recently.

While waiting, Ryeowook, who was sitting alone asked Donghae to come sit beside him, but was rebuked. Ryeowook then said Shindong would sit next to him since he is good at grilling meat. As if on cue, Shindong appeared, but hearing the reason declined to take the seat.

Their teasing moved on to Kyuhyun who was the last to join.

“You have just finished your duty, right?” the bandmates joked, but the youngest member just nodded murmuring “There you go again.”

“It has not been easy to gather everyone at once ... due to their busy individual schedule,” said Lee Teuk. At the leader’s comment, the veteran idols began catching up on their activities.

Cho Yuri admired how good the bandmate was, but when she took over the microphone she was ready to demonstrate her voice acting skills.

Honda Hitomi was relieved that she finished her recording without a mistake.

“It was not easy recording everything in Korean. But I have practiced a lot and the director complimented me,” she said. Honda has been working to improve her Korean with the help of Ahn Yujin.

“While waiting for our turn, we were studying together. Yujin studied Japanese and me Korean. I was amazed how good her Japanese is. She is even practicing her kanji,” she said.
