“I became a huge fan myself after seeing the concert,” said Hong Dam-young, who attended the show on Saturday.

In a word, it was just amazing, she said. The concert lasted three hours and 40 minutes but she could not take her eyes off the stage, said Hong. And nobody could stay seated throughout the performance, she said.

“The boy band does know how to put on a show,” said the reporter. The three-day concert in Seoul alone drew nearly 40,000 fans and is just the beginning of a tour that will take the band all over Asia.

Meanwhile, it was almost impossible for Hong to pick a favorite song from the 13-piece act since she loves every single one -- but if she had to, she said, she would choose its most recent single, “Hit.”

The extra-long show, “Ode to You,” was filled with songs dedicated to fans. The band members were not only good at singing and dancing but were also very funny and sincere and each member’s unique personality came through in the performance, said Hong.

The performer started playing the survival shooting game and invited his fans to join in. For any fans not interested in playing, he asked them to cheer him on instead so he could eat “chicken,” a reward for the winner.

“Should I run to a PC room right now?” asked some fans. Kim eagerly asked them to get going.

Starting out in normal mode, he created a room for up to 60 players and called it “Let’s Go to the Boot Camp with Jjaeni.” Kim was amazed at the speed at which fans began to join and realized that he had not even given them a hint at the password -- the singer’s birthday.

“How is this possible? How did you all figure it out?” he wondered out loud, looking at the screen.

“Please keep an eye on this livestream and watch me play. I am quite good, so don’t expect me to lose on purpose,” said the idol, asking fans to get ready to play the game with him until 3 a.m.

“We came here as soon as we woke up,” said the pair, agreeing that they prefer to skip breakfast for better skin.

Dowoon woke up at 11 a.m., earlier than usual since he had to do something, while Jae stayed in bed until after 2 p.m.

Dowoon practices every day, of course, he said, but corrected himself after starting to say he was practicing hard.

“I am enjoying it but I have recently become a little too lax to say I am doing my best,” confided Dowoon.

Dowoon thanked Jae for grilling meat for lunch and said: “It is none other than ribeye! I can just eat it raw.”

“Why are you winking at me so often these days?” asked Bambam.

“You always did it to me and I wanted you to know how it feels,” said JB.

“But I don’t do it like you do,” said Bambam, copying the way the leader stares at him before winking.

“It’s not that I don’t like it but I just cannot look at you,” said the younger member, laughing.

“(Bambam) has been eyeing a pair of my shoes and I traded them for his watch,” said JB, assuring fans that he wears it often. But the wristband is a little tight and left a mark on his arm, said the older member, showing fans.

Bambam shared a story with fans about meeting JB’s mother after a recent concert.

“I make fun of JB a lot onstage and I thought she would ask me to stop. But instead she said I should not restrain myself,” he said.

“I don’t know what to do. I really should listen to my elders, right?” said Bambam, making JB choke.
