Stray Kids took to V Live from Los Angeles before making an appearance at KCON 2019 LA.

“We are back in LA, and we are all together again!” said the nine-piece boy band, welcoming Hyunjin, who belatedly joined the group.

Bang Chan mentioned how they saw Hyunjin carry out a penalty and copied his rump shake, evoking laughter.

“It was the most embarrassing moment (of my life),” Hyunjin confessed, as I.N added that he felt embarrassed just watching.

Changbin said that the band had a meet-and-greet session with fans and how enthusiastic LA Stays were, referring to the Los Angeles chapter of the group’s fandom.

“We were so moved, and are expecting to see some more tomorrow,” said Bang Chan, full of anticipation for the live performance at the K-pop event.

“It’s been a while since we performed at KCON and this is the first time we are doing it in LA,” said the group, recalling their onstage experience in New York over a year ago.

“Please watch out for our performances,” requested Changbin, as the rest tried not to spill too many details.

WJSN’s Bona celebrates 24th birthday

Bona of WJSN took to V Live just after midnight on her birthday to celebrate the special day with her fans.

“For the first time, I am able to livestream as soon as the clock turned to my birthday!” she announced happily.

Showing off a red polka dot headband neatly tied in a ribbon, the birthday girl explained that she came up with the idea herself to look like a birthday gift.

“The day has only begun and I am so grateful that so many people are congratulating me,” said the performer.

Since debuting, she has been busy especially around this time of the year.

“I think I have spent my birthday overseas, on airplanes to be specific … two years ago, though, I was headed to the US and I got to enjoy birthdays two days in a row (due to the time difference),” she said with a smile.

Bona also thanked fans for posting birthday messages on billboards.

“My mom was so happy. She even sent me a picture of herself posing in front of one,” said the idol.

SF9’s Dawon misses roommate

Dawon of SF9 took to V Live from his hotel room in Los Angeles after performing at KCON 2019 LA.

He showed a table full of delicious desserts before helping himself to a brownie with ice cream and telling fans he has been craving something sweet.

He ordered every dessert on the menu to virtually share with fans, and after finishing the first dish, he began a poll for which one he should eat next.

“I don’t know how the rest of the members are split, but I am using the room by myself this time since Inseong is not here,” said the idol, referring to the bandmate who stayed behind due to a rib injury. Showing an empty, untouched bed, Dawon admitted that he is not only lonely, but also is a little scared, especially since the room was so big, and later called Inseong to tell him how much he was missed by everyone.

Twice bonds over trending TV drama

Naver’s V Pick! chose the best five minutes from Twice’s recent livestream.

“I am watching ‘Hotel Del Luna’ these days,” said Jeongyeon, with Sana and Nayeon adding they were as well.

“But frankly, I am a little too scared and when the ghosts come out I go like this,” said Nayeon showing how she flips her phone down to avoid looking at the screen.

“Aren’t you scared?” asked Nayeon, concerning the popular drama series that features spirits and phantoms at a hotel. Jeongyeon responded that she has not been so frightened since all the characters have their own stories.

“Didn’t they say there was a ghost at the practice studio at the former building of our company?” Jeongyeong and Sana posed, sending Nayeon into a scream.

“How am I supposed to sleep alone?” shrieked Nayeon, asking the two to sleep with her. The bandmates, however, looked away chuckling.

They then went through their favorite snacks before answering some questions posted by fans: “The closest girl group? Twice!”
