“It’s so good to see everyone after a while,” said Kang, dressed in pink. “Despite the short time for preparation, I decided to release ‘Color On Me’ fast because I wanted to meet the fans as soon as possible. I worked day and night to meet you.”

During the showcase, he talked about the new five-track album, the songs, behind-the-scenes episodes of writing the lyrics of each song and how he missed his fans so much during the hiatus. On request, he also reenacted his pose at the ceremonial first pitch during the recent Lotte Giants baseball game.

“When I was writing ‘Color’ I wanted to show my determination and express my thoughts,” he said. “So I even went back to my elementary school journal.”

“It’s only five songs this time, but I will become a good singer until I release 30 to 40 songs.”

He also answered fans questions and talked about planned fan meetings in Singapore and Hong Kong. “I want to go to other places as well, so I will return with more good news when it’s confirmed.”

“Sorry for making you wait for so long. I prepared a lot and am glad to see you enjoying it,” he said. “I was really nervous before the showcase, but when I saw your faces, I felt relaxed like I am at home. Thank you so much for waiting for me.”
