“This is when my day begins. I really am a night person and feel more comfortable at these hours,” he said, beginning the livestream at midnight.

The youngest member of the group joined the leader to the tune of the “Star Wars” soundtrack.

“To appear on this show, I am wearing all black,” said I.N to the delight of Bang Chan, who had advocated his usual choice of wearing black from head to toe.

“Today we are focusing on EDM, and I.N decided to join since he is into this genre these days,” explained Bang Chan as the pair began grooving to the music.

“I can’t hold back my excitement,” said I.N, adding that he has been listening to such music to wake himself up for school and has fallen in love with it.

“You can’t skip this when you are talking about EDM,” said the duo of their own hit “Miroh,” banging their heads and jumping in their seats.

NCT Dream only has to wait 5 more days

All six members of NCT Dream, a subunit of NCT, took to V Live to talk to fans about the upcoming release of their EP.

“Teaser images of us are being released now up until when the EP comes out on July 26,” said the bandmates, adding that those featuring Haechan and Renjun would be unveiled the next day.

“Personally, I liked the denim-on-denim look,” said Haechan.

The members poked fun at Jaemin’s new hair color: overall blond with blue in the front. “Did somebody lick your hair? It seems to have faded a little,” said Jeno chuckling.

Meanwhile Haechan told fans that NCT Dream would be flying out to the United States the following day and that he was excited about the band’s upcoming performance at the opening ceremony of the 24th World Scout Jamboree in West Virginia.

Asked about the new single’s choreography, Renjun almost did one of the moves before catching himself.

“Keep your hands behind your back,” said Haechan. “At first I frankly didn’t get it but it catches on,” said Jisung. “It’s addictive,” agreed the other bandmates.

“Post us any questions you might have, and we will pick five and answer them,” said Jo Yuri.

The 18-year-olds asked fans to understand that they had just woken up and were starving.

“We are having yukhoe, cheese balls and soddeoksoddeok,” they said, showing seasoned raw beef as well as sausages and rice cakes on skewers.

The four happily tucked in before a fan asked who was the leader among them.

Everyone raised their hands and began arguing until Kim Minju claimed the role, as her birthday is in February.

“If you don’t fulfill your responsibility, though, I will take over,” said Jo.

Fans were curious about how they spend their free time amid their hectic schedule.

“I really don’t do anything. I stay in bed. But today, I studied a little and watched some videos, in bed,” said Kim.

“I usually stay in bed, too, but yesterday I went to a manga cafe,” said Jo.

“I can’t imagine,” said Yabuki Nako, and Jo invited everyone to come along next time. “You can read and also have instant noodles,” she added.

NU’EST’s Baekho thanks fans for birthday messages

Baekho of NU’EST livestreamed right after the band’s concert in Thailand.

“The day isn’t over yet and I wanted to thank everyone for so many congratulatory messages for my birthday,” he said, telling fans that he had had miyeokguk -- seaweed soup that Koreans traditionally eat on their birthdays -- before the concert.

When fans commented that he looked tired, the performer explained that he had not wiped off his makeup and his eye makeup has smudged a little bit. “These are not dark circles,” he said.

“I was a little taken aback, worrying how to sort it out,” admitted Baekho of an incident during the live performance when the music was interrupted during “My Heaven.”

He also told fans that he was moved by Ren’s surprise for his birthday.

“I came back to my room after a workout and was headed for a shower when I saw my bed. Ren had set up something for me, and it was so cute and moving at the same time. I laughed a lot,” said the singer.
