“Thank you for showing such great love,” he said, beginning the segment after washing off his makeup. “I had dinner with Jin and turned this on right away.”

Suga talked about “We Don’t Talk Together,” a digital single he co-wrote with singer-songwriter Heize, which is topping music charts. “I would love to work with other artists at home and abroad. There are so many songs that I have on my hard drive but I just can’t find time,” said the artist, who has produced a number of hits for other K-pop singers.

He briefly excused himself to retrieve one of the original files from his laptop and shared it with his fans. “I initially wrote it for a mixed duo,” explained Suga. “It is fun and great that songs I have written can be heard by more,” he said.

Going through more of the works saved on his computer, Suga said, chuckling: “Hearing it again, it sounds so good. Should I use it myself?”

“I have put a lot of effort into showing you something special in the music video,” said the idol as he walked fans through the video for the lead track, “UN Village.”

Admitting that he had too much to say, he began by recalling how many bugs were at the shooting location for the scene where he sings in front of a billboard bearing the song’s title. “We must have used five or six cans of insect-repellent sprays,” he said, smiling. Also, the leather pants he had to wear were very tight, added the musician.

The overall concept, explained Baekhyun, was strolling down the streets in his favorite romantic neighborhood and telling someone he wanted to talk about love.

“It was quite hard making the MV without the usual dances I did as part of EXO,” he confessed. But he was satisfied with the outcome: “It is slow and sexy but doesn’t go too far.”

With a sheepish grin, he added, “Please keep an eye out for this part when the lights come on and you can see the veins on my throat.”

“I will never forget yesterday’s live performance. How enthusiastic the Saudi Arabian fans were,” he said, thanking the local fans.

Before going live, he had a dip in the pool, said the swim aficionado -- not only because he loves the water but also because he and Han had had a feast the previous night after ordering room service.

Bang Chan then started sharing his recent playlist. “I always listen to a song that sets the mood (for the change of seasons),” he said, playing Imagine Dragons’ “On Top of the World.”

“I have recommended this song before, right? The reason why this song will stay inside me for a while … is when I heard this song for the first time, I was kind of having a hard time (as a trainee) and it lifted me up,” said the leader of the boy band.

“I can’t tell you what it is about yet but I have just finished filming something,” he said, asking his fans to wait just a little longer.

Recently he has been rehearsing for a musical and preparing for the band’s upcoming Asian tour, which starts next week, said the idol. The quintet will start the tour in Bangkok on July 20 and then move on to Hong Kong, Jakarta, Singapore, Manila, Kuala Lumpur and Taipei.

“The lighting here must be good,” Minhyun said humbly when fans commented on his appearance. “I haven’t lost weight, though. Actually, there is a great diner near where I practice for the musical. A dear old lady cooks Korean food that is so good I always get seconds.”
