“From tomorrow, we will have concerts, and it’s been a while, so I’m a little nervous, as if it’s my first time,” said Jisoo.

She was soon joined by Rose who humbly introduced herself as “a bandmate of Jisoo for a group named ‘Blackpink.’”

“We are of strong songs but also have both bright and dark, chic appeals,” said the blond idol breaking into a laughter.

Rose was delighted to spot a dish of fruits and picked up a hairy rambutan, a tropical fruit that looked as exotic as the name. “I want to try this,” she said. Both were surprised when she cut off half of the peel and found a sizeable lychee-like treat inside.

Enjoying the fruit together, they welcomed Lisa who greeted them to her home country.

“I saw the pictures of you at the airport. So pretty!” said the youngest member snuggling up to the bandmates.

Jennie finally walked into the room opening a bag of chips, and the girls said striking funny poses: “We are together, all four us!”

EXO’s Baekhyun picked the right song as lead: Kpop Herald

Kpop Herald looked into the just-released first solo EP of EXO’s Baekhyun, “City Lights.”

The lead track of the six-song EP -- named “UN Village” after a posh neighborhood in central Seoul -- is quite realistic, said reporter Hong Dam-young. The idol singer sings about “a romantic moment with his lover enjoying the moonlight at the top of the hill in the neighborhood,” she explained.

Over the past eight years as a member of EXO, Baekhyun has released a number of solo singles including collaborative works with other musicians, but this is the first EP.

Hong had been to the previous day’s media conference and said that when the performer appeared on stage, there were collective gasps.

“He just looked amazing,” she said.

It took Baekhyun eight months to come up with the EP, which was longer than expected. He was smitten by the song, hearing 10 seconds of it, but had to persuade the company to agree with him, according to Hong.

The leader asked about Jackson’s neck, commenting on how hard he had danced for the concert despite the injury to it.

“I really did it … as if there was no tomorrow,” said Jackson showing some of the moves for “Page.”

“You gave me the most fitting part … what I can do best,” said Jackson thanking JB who wrote the song.

I have been really wanting to do a duet with you as well, like Justin Timberlake and Jay Z, added Jackson.

JB nodded his agreement singing a part from the two musician’s collaborative song “Holy Grail.” “We just didn’t have the opportunity,” he said.

Jackson asked what the older member does when he is alone at home. “Let me guess. You read books, watch TV, play with your cats, right?” he said.

“I didn’t think much of raising five cats at first … but recently I’ve started to wonder if it was a little too much. Because of the fur,” said JB.

The band held a concert in a much bigger hall than last time and it was as if they could see how far they have come, he said thanking the fans.

“At the previous concert, the electricity was shut down and we had to wrap up the show before singing the last song. But this time, we had so much fun, enough to make up for that,” said the leader of the boy band.

The day before the concert in London, he went out briefly and ran into quite a few fans. “I feel bad for not taking pictures together with those who asked for one,” said Shawnu.

He also assured fans who may be worried about the brief absence of Hyungwon.

“He has come down with quite a severe cold and could not join us for some of the schedules. He’s been to the doctor and will be better after a deep rest,” said the performer.
