Yim Hyun-su and Hong Dam-young began the segment with “Heartbeat,” the main theme song for the game inspired by the septet playing in the background.

“This track is dreamy, emotional and expressive. The lyrics are about following your dreams. It’s a hopeful message … and if you’re a big BTS fan, you might cry,” said Hong.

Both have tried playing the mobile game and Yim said, “It’s fun. You can text us and give a call.”

“The album is star-studded,” he went on admitting surprise. BTS has collaborated with Charli XCX, Zara Larsson and Juice WRLD for tracks 2, 3 and 4 respectively. “With each album their list of superstar collaborators is growing bigger, it seems,” the two agreed.

Besides the lead track, Yim picked “A Brand New Day” as his favorite. His fondness for the Swedish singer-songwriter aside, “The instrument sounds were exotic, which I don’t think I’ve heard in any previous BTS songs,” he said.

“I really loved ‘Flying,’ an instrumental track dedicated to V. It was so beautiful and reminded me of the soundtrack of ‘Forrest Gump,’” said Hong.

Jinyoung and Bambam began the segment showing Gotoon dolls from their band merchandise goods.

“What’s with their hair?” asked Bambam showing his own.

“If your head was this big you would suffer from a pinched nerve,” said Jinyoung.

“It’s cute though. I have one at home,” said Bambam.

“Really? I didn’t get one,” said Jinyoung.

Bambam said he bought one himself but failed to convince the older member.

“No, you didn’t,” said Jinyoung and Bambam burst into laughter.

After cleaning up the mess created by Bambam who spilled a mango drink, Jinyoung began to talk about how he was inspired by the younger bandmate.

“I was trying to find someone as a reference for my role in the drama ‘He is Psychometric,’ since I am not like the lead character who is so bright and upbeat,” said the singer-actor. “And it was you. One who tries not to show no matter how hard it is and who expresses himself in such positive way,” he added, promising to treat Bambam to 24K gold chicken wings.

“I wanted to go live as soon as I got here but we had a practice session,” Wonho said.

The idol shared tidbits of himself ranging from his favorite fruits ?- “peach, muscat and tangerines” -- to a pair of running shoes that was recently damaged from a treadmill run.

“Remember Minhyeok’s neon-color Nikes? I bought them, in women’s 10, and since it was for running put them on at the gym. I ran on the treadmill and later found out that some of the spikes were gone,” he said showing the missing parts. “I didn’t run too hard, really. I always set it at between nine and 10,” added Wonho.

He spent the next several minutes teasing fans with glimpses of funny pictures of the band saved on his smartphone.

Wonho also asked fans to keep an eye out for “Cool Love,” bandmate Hyungwon’s collaborative single with Honghin of Vixx.

“Actually my birthday is tomorrow, but since we are going to KCON I’ve decided to livestream today,” Kang Hyewon said, asking fans to look forward to the K-pop event in the US.

“I don’t know what to say doing this alone. I can’t do this rally. I suddenly miss my bandmates,” said the performer.

Going through the messages from fans, she pulled the cone-shaped party hat away from her head and put it on her nose. “There is an insect that looks like this, right? An anteater?” said Hyewon laughing.

“Please come and help me out,” she begged her band members when she heard a knock on the door. They came in singing a Happy Birthday song and carrying a cheesecake.

“It has been so quiet!” said the birthday girl after blowing the candles.

“But you looked so pretty!” soothed the rest of the members.
