Briefly showing the inside of his mostly-white hotel room, Wonho began the segment by trying out a number of effects from the video application. He put on a white flower on his left ear and recalled that he has done it once before when the band just debuted.

“We were one of the first handful (idol groups) to join Naver’s V Live back then,” said Wonho shooting lasers out from his eyes. “I love this,” he said playing with different themes and filters before finding a voice-changing button.

“Monbebe, do you hear me?” asked the idol. When fans commented that it was scary, he switched to a funny voice that made him sound like he just sucked in some helium.

“I have already packed. We will be heading to Paris tomorrow and have a choreography practice. The next day, too,” he said. Monsta X has begun their European tour in Amsterdam and will perform in Paris, London and Berlin.

“Oops, I pushed the button by mistake and the livestreaming started earlier than I expected,” Baekho said beginning the segment.

“I don’t know where I am headed. I am going wherever this will take me,” said the performer enjoying the breezy summer weather. “I did not charter this trolley but somehow I am the only one on this,” he said.

Baekho was too concentrated on reading the live feeds from the fans to realize that they could only see his eyes and forehead. “I’m sorry, the messages are coming in so fast I need to look closely to keep up,” he apologized.

Getting off the trolley after over 15-minute ride, he began looking for a playground. But what caught his eyes first was a hotdog stand. “Can I get one?” asked Baekho but his face fell when told that it was closed.

“I will resume livestreaming when I am ready to play badminton here,” he said arriving at the playground.

Jang Wonyoung, Kim Minjoo and Kim Chaewon talked about their recent episode of “Arcade,” an entertainment program on the girl group’s YouTube channel.

When fans commented that they were quite bad at playing table tennis, Chaewon said: “I was really good at it while I was in school, so much so that my nickname was Kim Takku.” Takku is table tennis in Korean and Kim Takku was the name of the main character from a hit TV drama.

“But how can you play table tennis with a slipper and a hoe? You should try it yourselves!” she said full of frustration.

With many of their fans in the middle of end-of-term tests, the band members decided to share their own methods of relieving stress.

Wonyoung told fans that drinking brown sugar bubble tea makes her happy. “She makes this happiest face when she drinks it,” said Chaewon. “Every time,” added Minjoo.

“It’s my birthday, everyone!” Kim Donghan shouted after singing himself a Happy Birthday song.

Wearing a cute hat and glowing glasses featuring birthday candles, Kim thanked his fans for wishing him.

“I first appeared on TV when I was 20 and am already 22,” he said.

The singer playfully fingered a sky-blue cake and put the frosting on his nose. “Hey, don’t do it! I am all dolled up!” he said acting as if someone else has done it.

“My fans have sent me so many yummy things and since it’s my birthday I will try the cake first,” said the birthday boy taking a big scoop of one of the two cakes. “Oh, I should have shown it to you first,” he said tilting it to show the top decorated with his favorite animation character Crayon Shin-chan.

Then Kim answered a series of questions about himself to help his fans get to know him better.
