“Please understand that I sound a little hoarse, as I was recording right before the livestreaming,” said the leader of the band, who writes and composes all songs himself.

He began by poking fun at himself. “We did a cover dance of Twice’s ‘Fancy,’ and yes, you must have seen me get the moves wrong,” said Bang Chan, laughing.

He was very satisfied with a fan meeting held on the day. “It was so nice to see you outside. I really liked the atmosphere. The grass in the park and the warm weather, not too hot, with some breeze. It felt as if we were on a picnic,” said the musician.

The first song for the segment was recommended by a fan. “I was going to pick this, too! The artist is one of Seungmin’s favorites as well,” he said, listening to Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello’s new collaborative song “Senorita.”

With a huge smile on his face, the actor confessed that he has yet to fully realize how it feels.

“I was quite concerned, as I began serving the duty later than most … but I did my best participating in the operations and training,” said Kim, who reportedly won early promotions and titles for being an exemplar soldier after volunteering to join one of the most demanding divisions in the Korean Army.

Following girl groups had been a solace in the Army, he said.

“We never miss a new song, and I really think I watched every music video available,” said the actor, laughing.

As for his future activities, Kim said he is very eager to resume acting. “Nothing has been decided for the remaining year, and I will probably be able to come to you next year,” he said.

“We are headed to Tokyo. We should eat something delicious,” said Yugyeom, sitting side by side with JB on a plane.

After arriving at the hotel, JB turned on the camera while lying on his bed.

“I am more nervous in Japan since everything is done in Japanese,” said the leader of the boy band.

“I wanted to babble but I don’t know what to say,” he said, bidding fans good night and murmuring that Tokyo sets his heart aflutter.

Meanwhile, Yugyeom was readying himself for a heavy meal.

“I like picking up a variety of food,” he said, taking out packed food from a plastic bag.

The next morning, the pair arrived at the showcase venue in Odaiba for a rehearsal.

“I don’t know if I should speak Korean or Japanese,” said JB, looking at cameras from both countries. “Very confusing,” he said, going inside.

Yugyeom was going through the script and admitted, “Japanese is so hard.”

Wrapping up their showcase in Tokyo and Osaka, the duo thanked fans. “These two weeks have been so much fun. Thank you everyone for making such precious memory,” they said.

“I am very sorry to livestream at this hour but the schedule ended so much later than I expected. I turned (the application) on as soon as I came back,” he said, telling fans that he had not even wiped off his makeup.

“I am a night owl myself and I usually go to bed at dawn when the sky begins to turn a little blue. So I am fine but I am worried about you,” said the performer.

“We are going to participate in KCON and have been practicing, as we want to put up a great performance,” said the leader of the nine-piece boy band.

SF9 will join K-pop acts, including NU’EST and Tomorrow X Together, in KCON 2019 USA, which will be held over the weekend in New York and in mid-August in Los Angeles.
