BTS’ interest in a variety of music genres, ranging from pop to hip-hop, was on display in a recent livestream from RM and Jimin.

Calling themselves “Minimoni” -- with RM using the nickname “Moni” and Jimin “Mini” -- the two seemed to be in a good mood as they livestreamed from what appeared to be a hotel room on Friday morning (Korean time).

“Let’s play some music,” Jimin said as he put on Maroon 5’s 2002 single “Sunday Morning,” instantly putting a smile on both singers’ faces as they danced side by side.

At first RM was concerned about the legality of playing another band’s song, but then he convinced himself it was fine because BTS and Maroon 5 followed each other on Twitter.

“Adam, brother, hope you understand,” RM said with his hands pressed together before going back to dancing.

During the stream, which went on for over an hour, the two talked about a number of topics including Jimin’s recent trip to a gallery where he saw an elderly couple he thought looked “very beautiful together.”

IZ unveils new video for “Hello”

The four-piece band IZ unveiled a second music video for its latest single, “Hello,” Thursday night.

The band had already unveiled one video for the single from its EP “RE:IZ,” which was released in May and shows the bandmates walking around and playing instruments in various locations.

But the new version depicts the band passionately playing the song on the rooftop of a high-rise building against a daylight cityscape.

The straight rock number has racked up over 500 views within the first 11 hours, prompting praise from fans.
One viewer said, “Please give this group more love,” before adding, “They deserve more.”

The band debuted in 2017 with the EP “All You Want.”

Teen Top dances to “Run Away” on Idol Radio

Teen Top showed off delicate dance moves for the new single “Run Away” in the studio of “Idol Radio.”

Small but cozy, the studio seemed like the perfect venue for the well-dressed bandmates to perform the EDM-tinged mid-tempo tune.

The boys cut casual figures as they performed the song with “Idol Radio” stickers on each of their outfits and even their hair. They seemed to be having fun and couldn’t help but smile throughout the performance, which saw the members jump in unison toward the end.

On the show, the members also drew laughter and screams from the studio audience with what they called “sexy dance moves for adults.”

In the same spirit, DJ Jung Il-hoon of BtoB joined in and showed off his own moves as well.

Monsta X’s Wonho talks to fans before bed

Just before hitting the hay Thursday night, Wonho from Monsta X talked about a number of topics during a livestream.

Cutting a handsome figure in a black T-shirt, the singer was clean-shaven and all freshened up in his hotel room. Wonho also proved he didn’t take himself too seriously as he didn’t mind being a little playful with Siri on his phone.

“Tell me about Monsta X’s tour dates,” he said to Siri.

In response, the AI voice assistant said, “I can’t find the dates.”

Slightly frustrated, Wonho threw his phone onto his bed while looking deadpan at the camera.

He was also joined by bandmate Kihyun briefly after fans urged him to join the livestream. Wonho seemed impressed by how good Kihyun looked on camera, asking, “Why are you so good-looking?”

Kihyun said, “I didn’t take off my makeup.”

Then Wonho replied, “Me neither.”

While Wonho talked for over 30 minutes, fans’ comments centered on his looks.
“Wonho, your face is the best,” one fan said.
