During the filming, they often seemed confused -- running around, going back and forth before a scene could start, telling each other what to do while forgetting their own roles. “My blood-sugar level has plummeted,” said Jin after moving around some props -- a table with a few objects on it -- and demanding a snack from Suga.

“We haven’t even filmed anything yet!” chided Suga.

They finally managed to rehearse their first scene -- “It was perfect!” said V -- and begin the actual filming. The first six attempts failed because the bandmates kept bursting into laughter, but they were satisfied with the seventh take. Then the staff reminded them there were a few more lines to go.

“Ah, it’s easier to be onstage,” sighed Suga.

The seven members decided to move on as soon as possible instead of looking at the monitoring screen. “I won’t be able to concentrate if I see myself on the monitoring screen,” said Jimin, shaking his head.

“I borrowed this tripod from Yunhyeong and it took me like 10 minutes to figure how to set it up properly,” he said, apologizing for the delay.

“I am working out since our comeback is drawing near. Haven’t I lost some weight?” he asked fans, showing off the running shorts he’d picked up in Japan. “Whatever I do, I start by buying stuff first,” confessed the idol.

“As our return approaches, we are carefully gearing ourselves up. It also means that we are closer to seeing you again. We’ve been filming quite a lot, recording and grooming as well,” he told fans.

“I love V Live but I am not good at this. It feels like I am talking to myself, even though you are leaving messages on the board, and after five minutes I am a little at a loss,” said Jinhwan.

BoA comes out with digital single

BoA released a single titled “Feedback” on June 4, featuring rapper Neoksal.

The veteran performer participated in every aspect of the project, from writing lyrics and songs to arranging and producing. The retro pop dance number smoothly mixes funky guitar music and cool synth sounds.

Unlike the powerful dance moves she is known for, the choreography in the music video is simple and BoA straightforwardly asks the object of her affections what she means to him.

Against a series of kitschy, colorful backgrounds, BoA catches everyone’s ears with her cool, clear voice. In contrast, Neoksal fires off words he wrote himself.

This is BoA’s first music release this year. Last year she released the single “Nega Dola,” the EP “One Shot, Two Shot” and her ninth full album in Korean, titled “Woman.”

Since her debut in 2000, the artist has hit milestones that included becoming the first Korean musician to top Japan’s Oricon chart.

“Please understand that we are a little ‘natural’ since we have been practicing,” said Chaeryeong, beginning the livestream from a studio with pinkish walls. “This is Yuna’s favorite studio.”

“I woke up this morning and found this zit. I was so sad,” Yuna told fans, pointing to one near her mouth in a quick “too much information” session.

“I had an acupuncture treatment,” said Chaeryeong, and the bandmates let out sounds of empathy.

“We have been practicing too hard,” added Yuna, bursting into laughter.

When fans asked whether Yezi and Lia were taking care of their three younger bandmates, who still are in high school, the answer was emphatic: “No! They are sleeping!”

“Let’s do something for them this time, then,” suggested the leader. This led to a serious discussion of cooking among the three.

“I can’t guarantee that (the food) will be good, though. And you will still have to eat it all,” declared Yezi.
