“I came here before the pop-up store opened but there were already hundreds of people waiting in the line,” she said showing the long queue for the pumpkin-shaped booth that housed the band’s second collaboration named L’Atelier des Subtils with Korean beauty brand VT Cosmetics.

“(They) rolled out seven perfumes that express each BTS member’s distinct charm and sensibility … I have received one inspired by Jimin,” said Hong showing a fresh-off-the-shelf fragrance in vanilla-colored packaging. “I actually requested this since I am biased toward Jimin,” she confessed.

Frederic Burtin, who was head chemist for LVMH Group’s Dior, Guerlain, Kenzo, Fresh and Givenchy for 15 years, has overseen the project.

Hong went on to join the line and tested all seven: cotton for Jin (“fresh from a washing machine”), green for Suga (“feels like I’m surrounded by leaves and trees”), musk for V (“I can totally imagine V wearing this”), ocean for Jungkook (“perfect for summer”), citrus for J-Hope (“Oh my god, I think I’m in love with this one”), vanilla for Jimin (“soft yet heavy, imagine walking on the clouds”), and wood for RM (“serious, official and manly”).

“Which one is my favorite? I think I’ll go for the one for Jimin!” said Hong.

“I really am not much of a speaker so I might as well just do my best at rapping,” said the idol beginning the solo segment.

He has mentioned during a V Live episode that he wanted to collaborate with ELHAE and the rapper’s dream came true in the form of single “Horizon” released in April.

“It is all thanks to you. The power of Monbebe is unbelievable!” said the performer. Monbebe, the fandom society of the seven-piece act, reached out to the US artist through social network that I.M is a huge fan and wanted to work with him that led to the teamwork.

“Horizon” and his solo “Scent,” also from the two-song mixtape, both landed on the iTunes chart but “Scent” was censored for some words from the lyrics, said the youngest member of Monsta X with a sigh.

GOT7 has fun during dance practice

GOT7 perfectly combined work and play with mischievous costumes.

The seven members were taking a break between dance practices and decided to pick three who would wear costumes with something strange.

Jackson won the round of rock-paper-scissors and picked out three sheets with each member’s names. The first, however, had his own name sending everyone into a bout of laughter. JB and Bambam were the other two to share his misfortune.

Changing into their astronaut-themed costumes, the bandmates marveled at the advanced feature of the helmet: a button that flips open the visor. “We are Buzz Lightyear,” declared JB. “This is moonwalk,” quipped Jinyoung as everyone tried to take steps as if they were in zero-gravity outer space.

They challenged themselves to dance to “Eclipse,” title track from their just-released EP “Spinning Top: Between Security and Insecurity” played at double and half the speeds of the original.

The bandmates laughed and groaned at the same time keeping up with the switching model while JB scratched his fake bottom, the key feature of the chosen trio’s costumes, and some tried to grab each other’s faces.
