The singer/actress will unveil the EP later today, marking her 29th birthday. “Summer Night,” featuring indie singer-songwriter 20 Years of Age, is an acoustic ballad about lovers who have settled into familiarity.

In the trailer, the idol is seen lounging poolside with a dog, reading a book under the trees, smiling under an umbrella and listening to music with her eyes closed.

In addition to three of her previous solo hits -- “Deoksugung Stonewall Walkway,” “When the Wind Blows” and “To You” -- the album will also include “Promise.”

In the acoustic pop tune she has dedicated to her fans, the singer’s clear voice can be heard accompanied by guitar as she expresses hope of reuniting with someone who has always been there for her.

“I actually wanted to turn on V Live yesterday, but as you know we are practicing very hard for our upcoming concert. I was so sweaty and thought you wouldn’t want to see me like that,” she said.

“I wanted to tell you that I have started working out. I am in the advanced group!” said the idol excitedly. “All the bandmates have taken up exercising and I am doing a regimen that includes lunges and squats, similar to CrossFit. The focus for us is more on building up stamina than losing weight,” she explained.

“Today Minju, Hitomi, Chaewon and Hyewon took the class with me and I, along with Hitomi and Chaewon, made the A-team!” boasted the second-youngest member of the 12-piece girl group.

But her score on InBody, a body composition analysis tool, dampened her mood. “Hyewon had the best results and she even had chicken on the day of the scan! Life is so not fair,” lamented An. “I am really good at jumping jacks but the score said that my muscle mass percentage is not that high. I wonder where my strength comes from,” she wondered.

Pentagon’s Shinwon solves mystery

Shinwon of Pentagon had a late-night pizza snack and while he was waiting for it to arrive, he found some of his missing fashion items.

“I am planning to do something bad,” said the performer dramatically before confessing that he had just ordered pizza. “Just let me be. I will live like this,” he said as Kino, his accomplice, came into view with a toy duck.

Pointing to the black baseball cap on Kino’s head, Shinwon confessed that he had lost his. “My room is a black hole. Somehow I keep losing stuff. Only recently I have lost two hats, a pair of pants, a T-shirt and a belt,” he said, scratching the back of his head.

“I ran into Wooseok yesterday and he was wearing this familiar hat. When I took it from him and looked at it, it turned out to be mine. I must have left it at his place when I was there,” said Shinwon.

Yanan then entered the room, telling his bandmate, “Your cap is at my place,” sending Shinwon into a bout of laughter.

“I have found it!” he told fans happily.

“Sorry to go live at this late hour but I have been doing V Live every year (since our debut) celebrating my own birthday so here I am,” she said, thanking the fans who had waited for her. “I don’t want to keep you awake for too long so I will keep it short today,” she added.

Asking the fans if they liked her new hairdo, a chin-length cut with bangs, the performer said, “Instead of the live feed it would be really fun if I could actually hear your voices.”

“I was doing something when the manager and staff brought this cake made of burgers. And the candles were on the chicken nuggets on top! So to my taste and I was touched,” said Eunha, showing pictures of her holding it.

She also expressed gratitude for the letters and presents her fans had sent. “I have read the mails and opened presents from you. There were so many!” said Eunha, making tiny hearts with her fingers.
