“Please understand that I have taken out a wisdom tooth. It’s been only three days,” said Jungkook at the beginning of the episode showing a slightly swollen left cheek.

The boys were given a mission to shoot a sitcom and everyone had to audition for their acting skills. Expectations were high for V, who has starred in a TV drama in 2016. “Are we going to be tested by V, the only one with real acting experience?” said RM, to which V humbly replied, “I think RM will be the best.”

“Or Jin who majored in acting?” RM added.

“I have lost touch. It’s been seven years,” Jin said.

Tensions rose when the staff gave out sheets with numbers for well-known lines from dramas. “I hope it’s not anything about love,” J-Hope said, while Jungkook tried to put himself in acting mode with hand gestures.

The round in which they read lines made some cringe -- Jimin almost shed tears and Jin went red in the ears -- but confirmed that V was the right one to direct. The band got itself acquainted with the script as they read it through together laughing and pointing out each other’s mistakes.

When the camera began to roll for the sitcom roughly based on a bunch of boys living together, however, the seven members had a hard time proceeding as they could not help bursting into laughter. “Think of sad things,” RM advised. “Don’t look anyone in the eyes,” added Jin.

“This is their first Korean album in 2019 following the April release of Japanese LP ‘Awaken.’ This comes after ‘Regular-Irregular’ that was also a mega hit album on Billboard chart,” Hong Dam-young said, introducing the segment.

The nine-piece unit came back with the EP having just wrapped up their world tour that kicked off in January visiting as many as 20 cities, she said.

“They appeared in US TV shows like ‘Good Morning America,’ ‘The Late Late Show with James Corden’ and ‘Good Day New York,’ so it’s official that NCT 127 is going huge in the Ttates,” noted Hong.

As for the title track “Superhuman,” “it kind of reminded me of the old SM Entertainment style, the dance songs which they are known for,” said Ahn Sung-mi, pointing out the strong beats and high energy. Throwing in more futuristic sounds and synth to the signature mix, though, it has become more suited for the band, she added.

The seven members of the boy band were seen rehearsing for their first onstage performance. In white, black and yellow clothes, they sung their parts for the sound check.

When the dry run for the music program began, the bandmates were even more focused perfecting their choreography to the smallest detail. There were seconds of mischief as well as JB had a faint smile on his face adjusting hands of Jinyoung and Jackson for the finale while Jinyoung tried in vain to take billowing yellow shirt off Yugyeom’s back.

Off stage, the boys monitored the practice looking at the video recorded on the phones as they had their makeup retouched and sweats dried. Yugyeom and Jackson gave a thumb up. “I don’t know. It feels good somehow. Now we have Agasae it will give us strength,” said Mark cooling himself down with a handheld automatic fan. Agasae is the name of GOT7’s fandom society and means baby birds.

“Just enjoy yourselves. You know that, right?” said Yugyeom to eagerly-awaiting fans on the stage before the music started.

Wearing a midriff-baring ruched skyblue top that highlighted her well-known abs and black leggings, the main dancer of Twice danced to the group’s recent hit.

This perfect showcase of solo choreography is a sequel to her dance coaching episode that aired on May 17, in which she taught four staff including the group’s manager to learn the dance of the album’s title track step-by-step.

“A lot of fans asked me at signings when I will livestreaming dance tutorials so I’m here,” she said after performing at Yonsei University’s annual festival.

Momo is also holding a dance contest. Fans are asked to upload clips of their cover dance on YouTube and she will pick the best 10 and reward them with her signing.
